Downloading now at 10MB/s, which is pretty great for PSN. Will still take 80 minutes to complete, but it's good enough to let you launch at 10.646GB.

This was really the game that made me appreciate first-person shooters. Delighted to be able to see it again with a new sheen.

I don't know much about the ban reason but my UK online retailer, not listed in the OP, says I can play this 30 days early too. It states:
- 30 Days Early Access: Pre-purchase Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Play the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Campaign 30 Days Early!
PS4 Legacy only

It even has a big advert for it saying 'released today' on the front-page.

- Did you redeem with a code? or did you buy the PSN store version?

I can't seem to download the game, even though I have the redeem token..

Oh boy it feels good.
Bit rusty but ran the cargo ship mockup in 18 seconds, lovin it. Being so used to double jumping and boosting around this feels so right and refreshing.

I pre-ordered the legacy edition from Amazon and got a code for the MP beta. Sorry if this has been answered in the OT but I didn't see anything and am a bit confused. Is amazon not giving SP codes for legacy edition?

Amazon arent in the participating retailers for the SP early campaign thing. It sucks, but, whatever.

Should be noted that IW and MWR on launch (11/4), will be playable at 12 AM EST. :)

Gears is also doing a 12 AM EST launch. Honestly should be standard imho. It let's people on the west coast play it early and the people on the east coast can play instead of it being out at 3 AM. :(

Seriously, devs, stop doing 3 AM EST launches. Bad devs. Baaaaad.

I hate to admit it but I'm so tempted to buy Infinite Warfare just to play this. Activision's marketing is working something fierce.

It helps that Infinite Warfare looks decently fun. It's not like modern COD's are garbage, they are just not what we MW fans want. However, it's still entertaining to some degree.

EDIT:
Looks like I'm not getting the promotional code from Amazon. Just have the multiplayer beta code.

Will they add additional modes like MW2/MW3 had? I liked the spec ops missions in MW2 and loved the squad thing they had in MW3.

I will be playing the shit out of MWR that's for sure.

For IW,I think it all depends how Infinite Warfare's post launch content gonna be.If they add super colorful,childish stuff like Treyarch did with BOPSIII then fuck them,in terms of characters,armors,weapons,specialist,etc. IW currently looks more mature then current state of BOPSIII.

I'm buying Infinite Warfare just for the campaign. It looks so good in every way for a shooter FPS. Bought the $80 edition as I've never played Modern Warfare so I'm also really excited to play through that next month.

I also love that the game is releasing on Thursday night/Friday so I can actually play it. All games should release like movies.

so it's only retailers that require you to pay at time of order? too many times have i preordered a game through amazon just to get into a beta then cancelled it. i'm sure i can wait until the game fully releases.

Reporting in from GameStop, went in and asked about the code and they gave me it when they saw I had it pre ordered for ps4, at work now and it's downloading on my ps4!

I buy COD day 1 every year but this will be the first year I am passing on it, so sick of the futuristic stuff, haven't touched Black Ops 3 in months and the new one from what I have seen and heard does absolutely nothing for me (plus supply drops have really turned me off)

Anyways I really wish there was a way to buy this without Infinite Warfare, really sucks! Should be sold separately in the $20 - $30 range, id gladly pay that.

Once you place a preorder online, it's for the full amount. Only way you can put a set amount down is if you do it in store. It took around 48hrs from when I preordered on BB.com to get a code, but others have got it sooner.
