Of all the terrible Chinese TV that I've watched recently, this has been the most entertaining because it's a fantasy series. Think Game of Thrones, but without any budget whatsoever. It's got all your favourite things in it, just like anime.

Captain Jack Sparrow(s):
Assassin's Creed cosplayers:
The Iron Throne is lame, so how about a throne that can turn into a turret that shoots a bunch of arrows?
Puppets:
Daenerys:
Intense action:
High quality CG:
How good is that CG, you ask? So good that when they use it, the frame rate drops massively, just like one of your videogames:
Oh yeah, I guess the most anime part of the show is how that when everyone is introduced, they get an anime face:

Also anime runs a political spectrum that is quite wide from say Revolutionary Girl Utena to GATE.

They better hurry up, That new Ranpo short has already aired, Akiba's Trip is tomorrow and Masamune-kun's Revenge the day after. Feels somehow later this season compared to the last few (which were already terribly tight.)
Edit: And just as an aside, it'd be nice if we could have threads pop up for Ajin, Sidonia, whatever CGI show and actually get talk about the series, rather than a bunch of snarky comments about how 'ugly' all of it is. Ugh. I'm really sick of that.

So I decided to watch an old Bones show to score points with Ducky so he won't ban me and this one has been sitting in my watch list for awhile, so......
Not sure what to think after 1 episode since tgere was SOOO much going on at once, but I can immediately say tgat the childhood friend has a crush on the MC and she will get rekt by him during the show, lol

No, I mean, when these threads do pop up (there's already an Ajin thread) often times they are riddled with a handful of posters who add nothing other than to jump in and make inflammatory snark comments about how the CGI just makes eyes bleed, or its like watching action figures bump, or is actively causing the fall of humanity itself. Just would be nice to have a discussion about any of these shows without a plethora of that popping up. That's all.

Sorry, but I really don't like the look Polygon Pictures has used for Ajin or Sidonia. (Their production of Ronja looks better.) That doesn't mean I hate CG altogether, but I do dislike this particular use of CG.

Yeah, see, I guess I have to clarify, I don't have a problem with people voicing their dislike for it, but after awhile of continually posting nothing beyond "I hate how this looks" it gets annoying. I don't have an issue with someone coming in, voicing their disdain for the series, perhaps arguing why and being on their way, but when all they contribute is drive by posts after posts about how ugly they find it, it adds nothing.
And I mean all CG shows, not just Ajin and Sidonia, those were just my examples.

What I learn from this episode.
- You found out a bit more of Azusa personal life in her previous schoolmate which explain quite a bit of her and why she don't really try to have friend in her current school and her personality.
- Youto manage to get Azusa to come out from her room (make that kidnap with the help of her mom) and took her to the Cat shrine and explain to her she don't have to be something else and just be herself. Also, Youto explain the real reason why he is very close to her not because he love her but to get the trait she manage to get from him in the wish.
- Youto trait have come back to him once Azusa wish goes through from the cat shrine.
- Azusa manage to ask Youto for another date but this time somewhere further. Might be a sign she start to like Youto quite a bit.
- Tsukiko is a bit jealous between them and also want to have a date with Youto even though he never really see Tsukiko as someone who will date him.
- Have a very weird arch story with Tsukiko where you found out she want to be a kindergarten teacher but can't really do it as she don't have the emotional side when talking to kids mostly from lost it from the Cat shrine. This bring in two scene with her and a mask, trying to tell her story to Youto.
- Found out Tsukiko and Tsukushi are sister, don't like each other at all.
A very touching conclusion for Azusa arch between her and Youto to the point she ask him for another date which she never do if she stick with her past. For Tsukiko arch, it's odd to watch for a bit but kinda realize she is trying to tell him something which I am guessing she kinda want him to be friend with her not going to Azusa all the time. I am guessing she might be jealous and maybe have some sort of feeling which will found out later. Also, I am guessing Youto will try to find a way to get the Tsutsukakushi sister back together somehow which will be interesting to see if it goes through.
time for my Arashi no Yoru ni OT at last.

Thanks, maybe I will. Right now I'm more just annoyed that sometimes when I check the latest Ajin thread it's just familiar posters rebumping it to remind everyone of how 'ugly' it looks, rather than actual discussion good or bad

This is why I don't watch any Chinese show from the mainland. Now, if we talking about Singaporean Chinese show, we can talk a bit but I have a feeling it's a loosing situation for me here.
