I'm currently using Smart Racoon on AO and that works pretty well. My AO has a pretty mediocre damage output but is very durable. I T2ed her earlier this week and I haven't found anything I can't solo yet. I guess iThanos will be where the buck stops, but regular Thanos was pretty okay.

Cool, I'm tempted to T2 her, I already soloed Ebony yesterday and she doesn't even have an ISO set yet.

America is pretty much at the top of my list of wanted characters, so I'd be pretty happy. I'd love if we could get all the Ultimates.

Yeah, super disappointing. None of the clues lead to America. I mean I really want Medusa, but she'd fit fine into the update for the TV show. Oh well, bring on the Ultimates update sometime soon.

Update notes are out! Bullseye and Elektra finally get their 6* skills!
So Riri is Bio sub only. Two updates back to back with sub only characters is crazy, but I guess it ensures she'll be good lol.
Lots of nice buffs for the Hulks and Cap. Elektra getting a revamp is crazy, but so necessary.
Power creep continues with uniform ranking. Added stats are definitely going to be nice though.

I absolutely hate requiring me to buy uniforms of other characters just to upgrade a uniform, that's some top tier money-grubbing.
Liking the buffs to terrible characters, they should continue doing that with the worst characters in the game. Overall relatively excited for the patch, much better than the last 2 at least.

Got 16 days left on my sub too so I'm pretty happy about that. Really excited for tomorrow, bring it on!

So does this mean regular Hulk might be viable now?
He was the first character I levelled up and I've always wanted him to be decent.
Happy with the characters but bummed there's yet another sub character, feel as though there was already too many. I haven't even maxed out Carnage yet.

Four out of 106 is actually quite a low percentage all things considered, especially compared to other games. Plus Hyperion is an easy skip too, unless you just really like the character.

I hate these maintenance times as they always happen exactly when I play (evenings in Europe).
I think so too. I hope they'll add the option to wear a different or no costume cosmetically at some point but I doubt it.

This is true. I know this game is fairly generous, especially for those who grind daily.
Just seems as though the frequency of the paywall characters is ramping up, and it's a bummer that you can't max one out in a single month of paid bios.

I'm not really feeling the uniform upgrade system, as it looks like a massive resource sink and introduces what is essentially a T2.5.
Then again, this is mostly a PvP issue, as T2 are enough for current PvE content, and putting resources toward another T2 seems more worthwhile to me than, say, maxing Strange's uniform and making him ultra super strong rather than just super strong. It's not like he's going to clear more SL floors or win more WB fights.

I fully expect to see this system tweaked so I'm going to hold off on upgrading costumes for now.
There's no rush to do it now anyway, but I fully expect new content in the coming months that will require fully uru and costume upgraded characters to clear.
They also really need to make rifts give alliance, account and now uniform xp because it's getting ridiculous at this point.

Yeah, that was more or less my point: these two systems look high cost/low benefit features in the current economy and seem mostly designed to hunt whales who want to min/max everything.
Meanwhile, I've been aggregating my WBI outcomes over 80 battles, I'll post the results but that's really a shitload of bios and Norn stones.
I wish dimension rifts had a QoL feature where you could see all the rifts opened by your alliance at any given time.

I absolutely despise that they keep adding new forms of currency and equipment every single patch. BAM, chaos norn, uru, this new uniform resource, etc. It's too much to keep farming and they won't even make it easier to farm all of these resources. Try to upgrade anything nowadays and you need 5 different resources that you have to farm, it's so tedious.
And yes everything about the uniform update is terrible, I'm not even gonna bother honestly, I've given up on trying to keep my squad top tier a while ago. The only way to get better rewards in battleworld is to gun for top 100 but that's luck based and absolutely not worth it; and timeline has never given me an incentive to go for better rewards(20 more crystals for a shitload of effort? Whatever). Best place to get to in Shadowlands is stage 15 and I can already get there, no need to go further.

You can get almost 2 mil gold and over 100 chaos norns if you continue the rest of the way. Still worth working toward even though it's not as crazy as the bios.

She's pretty solid. Great skill set, super useful for shadowlands.
Not digging it either. Every time I get to a place where I can begin to tackle the endgame stuff, they add a new layer of impossible shit to do that makes me feel like my progress was for naught.
Inventory management is still a hassle despite being pared down last year because they're just replacing all the old tchotchkes with new ones.

So can somebody tell me how I get rank 3 Black Anti Matter? I'm to the step on the Strange quest where I need 10 of them, and apparently I have zero. I see you can get some anti matter from doing WB's, but I still can't beat a single one of them despite having a few T2 characters including Sharon Rogers and Carnage. Is there any other way to get these, even if slow?

So the whole uniform upgrade requirement thing just got even crazier. If you upgrade the uniform that's a requirement for ranking up your uniform, it increases the stat gain from that rank. So to fully max your uniform's power, you have to fully max the five other required uniforms. LOL!
First floor of Shadowlands, but it's a pitiful amount. Beating WBs is the only real way of doing it. Then fuse up to the rank you need.

Yeah the uniform thing is garbage. Another money/timesink. If they wanted to do it this way they should have added another way to obtain uniforms other than having to drop that many crystals.

Saw someone in Battleword whose team was Thanos, Strange, Carnage, YJ and Cho, all T2. He destroyed me before Cho came out so I didn't see him perform.
I have enough bios from villain sieges to max him out and I like his new uni, is it worth it?

So which of the new characters are good? I've been getting both Medusa and Kate bios without really committing either way so far. I thought I had plenty of speed characters but after neglecting it for so long it's actually become a dire situation, Elsa and Silk are great but T2 BW is mediocre to bad, 6* Mockingbird is useless, 6* Gwenpool is good but I still have to T2 her, Spidey is whatever. I definitely need another speed hero for SL and I think Kate can fill that role.
I don't know about Medusa but the fact that she's physical and she has a good leadership makes her interesting to me, like all my universals are energy attackers.

Damn I'm getting tired of running out of time in the mid stages of Shadowland with all three characters still going strong.
Only game mode I absolutely detest in this game but the rewards even if only competing until stage 15 or so are too great to ignore.
Wish I could pretend Shadowland didn't exist.
On that note though, used the Bio selectors on Kate tonight and:

The worst shadowlands modes are the ones that take too much time, wave mode would be completely fine if not for the ridiculously strict time limit. I'm barely able to use characters like Wasp and the Ancient one because they do very little damage.
And yeah the 19>20 gear upgrade is just stupid how slow it goes, 15-19 is a breeze by comparison.

I've yet to make it past stage 8 of SL.
I think I keep blowing my best characters early on.
I'm guessing most people's strategy is to play the Relay modes, pick one strong character and then the other two for good synergy/bonuses?
Anyone care to share some of their preferred SL teams so I can get some ideas?
