Hey now I loved Bloody Moon, really went well with the the intro too.

I think my biggest disappointment with losing these licensed songs is they don't recut the intro to match the song they use in it's place, as for the cut song that I missed the most is Loser. At the time it felt like Yakuza 3 might have been Kiryu's final adventure and it really added to the "One last epic" vibe I kept getting from the trailers and foreshadowing in the game itself.

Ozgameshop just shipped my copy! Now the real wait (14 days) begins!

You can preorder it there still. It's a U.K. Company I think, 365games.co.uk is their UK website. So anyone that missed out at Amazon UK can get it there.

I'm loving this game. Haven't even done a side mission yet. Don't think they open up till later but I'm having a blast!

Still playing through Yakuza 5, it's the first Yakuza game I've ever played. There are certain aspects of the game that are frustrating and feel archaic in design but other areas that are really unique and make the game feel unlike any other. I've played over 60 hours of the game and I'm still in Chapter 2 I think. No idea how many chapters there are.

So might be a while until I get to this game!

EDIT: I'm actually at Part 2 of Chapter 4 right now

5 chapters in total. Sounds like you are doing everything (side missions/mini games) as you go? If so, I doubt you'll be done before the 140 hour mark! (which was how long it took me to 100% it).

Not even on first page when googling Yakuza 0 review so fuck 'em.

Glad they removed bot comments though, still, I wish they got some more heat for that, shady as hell.

Well as you would expect the comment section really wasn't thrilled for the score, especially from a guy who says in his bio likes shooter games, so they went in force and after a couple of very negative comments, some veeeery positive have started to appear, I mean painfully obvious comments like:

Yes! Yes! Yes! So true! Very nice review!

or

Agreed! Fantastic review! Very interesting to read!

Comments like that appeared in quick succesion one after another, and when comment section got lit about it and called it, those comments suddenly disappeared, thus confirming what was already obvious.

I've started playing yakuza 1 three weeks ago and I'm not done yet.
Now I have my copy of zero.. guess I will start the new one and then wait for kiwami

Yep, though I made the decision to grab this one Thursday nigh, so, I might not get it on proper release date. Everyone seems to be loving this game. Can't wait.

What's up with trying to pick this up in the UK.

Amazon have gone to 'currently unavailable' on it and it wasn't on the PSN store when I looked last night.

Is it going to be problematic trying to pick this up?

Amazon UK is selling out after every restock. EU PSN won't be up until release day. No preloading.

Only cut content that I'm aware of is the intro/opening song "Bubble" which has been replaced by a generic rock track. That's par of the course for Yakuza localisations though, the vocal intro music is always the first thing to go. Sega really gotta make sure 6 doesn't have the same problem though, else that is going to really hurt some of the emotional cutscenes in that game.

I'm enjoying the game although I must say the camera is pretty annoying in close alleys and there's tons of screen tearing if you aim camera to sky and rotate it. They hid the tearing up in the sky and top of buildings but when you see it it's pretty bad. Playing on ps4 pro. No day 1 patch available so 1.00

like him or not, this is a big deal for the yakuza franchise. could really help the game.

Amazon and Simply are both out of stock. I presume the game is selling unexpectedly well?

I presume they had mild expectations for it so they didn't print a lot. So it's doing well but I really don't see it becoming big like the souls series did. Who knows.

The place where I usually buy games shipped it very early, so I got it yesterday. Haven't had time to play a lot but I like what little I've played so far, first Yakuza game for me.

That's my theory as well. Its never sold well in the past so Sega probably didn't do a big print run for the game. Kinda bodes well if this is the case, the game actually selling out/selling well outside Japan would be awesome news :)
