they play a style that works against High School. It's gimmicky as fuck, but props to them and their dad for exploiting that. I honestly don't think it will work as they progress. Personally I think Lonzo is good, not great and will be exposed at the next level.

this is true impact of guys like Stephen Curry. I saw this kid shoot a pull up half court shot. He really needs to get that shot release higher though

He's extremely overrated and plays in a gimmick offense that does nothing but cherry pick and toss up threes. Sure, he's a good three point shooter, but we'll see what happens the first time he tries to toss up one of his patented pull-up half court threes in college.

This dude has the body of a fucking NBA player and is only 16.

Like if you were a kid that had to play defense against this, you would have your life flash before your eyes and a voice telling you to quit basketball and be a fucking accountant.

He's a sophomore, 6'2", has handles, amazing court vision, a ridiculous touch, a fast release and high basketball IQ. He's got a good chance of being a lottery pick. He's not that far off of Steph in terms of body frame, and it's not like you have to be huge as a PG. I've seen the kid play and he's legit as fuck.

If you guys want some other ridiculous up and coming talent, check out Kyree Walker (I've seen him play as well).

His mechanics can be exposed. His shot is going to be hard to get off against bigger/faster opponents. That's the biggest difference with Curry. Steph's shot is insanely quick. Same problem with Lonzo, though I think Lonzo's handle is worse but he's got better size. Steph is an outlier, it feels like every short light skin kid who can shoot is going to be comped to Curry the same way every undersized ISO SG was compared to Iverson, but none really lived up to it.

lonzos been taking and making those threes consistently in college and his form is ass. pros is where they'll get tested for real.

You're comparing a 15 year old to a grown ass man. Go watch Steph's footage in College. His release was nowhere as quick as it is today. Lamelo can and will improve. What about the other brother? LiAngelo Ball is just as much as a shooter, and is built into his 6'6" frame.

Kinda used to seeing this wunderkids in high school and then watching it not even translate in college or the NBA but will just have to watch and see how he and the others pan out once they get to that level.

LianGelo is terrible. He's built like a linebacker, but he has zero skill. Shooting is literally the only thing he can do, but he's so slow and unathletic that he'll never be able to get his shot off. He's a four year player that should be going to a midmajor but lucked into having the Ball name.

I mean, you are right, it's always weird when it comes to projecting high school kids, I just have my doubts that their skills will translate. LiAngelo is probably the most questionable just because of his body type. He's got height but is sort of stocky. None of them really have elite athleticism which I think will be the toughest thing to overcome. At the end of the day though, they are getting a ton of publicity and their father has figured out how to parlay that into D1 scholarships for all 3 of his sons, and potentially first round pick money for all three of them as well, so I can't hate.

There's zero chance LiAngelo is a first round pick. He's bought into his and his dad's hype and doesn't care enough to improve his game. He's the main beneficiary of the gimmick cherry picking offense. Dude never plays defense.

His kids, regardless of their talent, will get caught up by some GM in the NBA and be paid millions and set for life.
