FAST RMX |OT| Gotta Go FAST

I deleted Shovel Knight just to test it (small download for a fast test), after deleting the game it shows up in the redownload section of the eshop. So it looks like games already downloaded onto the Switch won't show up.

Okay, that's what I figured. Thanks for checking!

I really like the Hero mode.. having your boost take your health away adds a lot to the tension of the races

They should make an update to have that mode be an option for multiplayer races as well (assuming you can't unlock it already.

Got a chance to play with 2 other friends today. Very happy you can have ai in multiplayer. Never played the first fast racing neo but fast rmx is fantastic I need to get my own copy.

I like this a lot more than Neo. I've been using the Cebra and it handles really well. I was consistently losing races on the fourth cup on the easiest difficulty in Neo but in this I've placed first overall for every cup so far, so it feels a great deal easier to me. Hope they patch in Time Trials sometime.

Do games show for anyone? When I check my account on the eShop for 'Redownload Software' none of the stuff I downloaded shows. I figure it was like that because it is on the system memory.

I unregistered, wiped the entire Switch (initialize), and was able to re-set it up, log in, and redownload all the games without issue.

What were the two biggest asks in the thread? Time Attack and Online with Friends? Shin'en got you covered.

I suspect they're doing quite well as an indie launch title at a reasonable price to come out swinging with this support this soon.

The only thing that trips me out is the whole no transferring of data, I don't want to download anything until I get a big SD card.

Saves are going to the internal storage no matter what. Games can be transferred to mSD, but not save data.

I can't get the online multiplayer to work. I've tried it on my home wifi and 2 different mobile hotspots but it always gives me error code 2618-0516 "Unable to connect to the other user's console." and in the details it says "NAT traversal process has failed". This has been happening since launch and originally I thought the servers were just being busy but I suppose that can't be the case anymore.

The error comes after the ship selection. It shows the "Starting multiplayer..." text for a while and then gives the error.

Redownloading the game didn't help. I also tried creating a dummy profile on the Switch but it asks me to login to a Nintendo account when I try the online multiplayer with it. I suppose I could try creating another Nintendo account just to be sure the issue is not with my main account.

I'm a bit confused as nobody else seems to be having this issue. Anybody have any ideas what I could try?

Sounds like a fire wall thing.

Sadly my ISP has locked the firewall settings of my router so I can't change them but this would be the first time I run into issues with it. WiiU (and basically any other device) online works well with it. Also I don't know if the mobile hotspots have a firewall at all.

Probably a firewall/closed ports problem. Try enabling UPnP in your router setting is you have the option.
It was already enabled. Tried disabling it for what its worth but didn't help.

The Switch has a Connection Test in the Internet settings and it says "Connection test succesful" :/ It also lists my NAT type as "D". Don't really know what that means, but could anyone check if their NAT is D as well and the online multiplayer works?

Hope this is doing well for shinen. Not played a huge amount of it due to Zelda, but I've enjoyed what i have played.

Bojanglez

The Amiga Brotherhood
I've purchased this. I always like a good racing game with a console launch, this will keep me going into Mario Kart.

I honestly think it might be doing some temporal reprojection or something. It DEFINITELY never looks native 1080p, even when standing still. Sometimes it looks really rough. I doing there's any AA either.

Yeah there has to be something going on.
It doesn't look 1080p native at all.

jon bones

hot hot hanuman-on-man action
i know i'm going to drop this as soon as MK8 drops, but for $20 that's still decent for nearly 2 months of portable racing fun

One thing I noticed when playing casually with friends at a party is that they fell off of the track or drove into obstacles often.

I suppose the speed of the game necessitates a fair amount of memorizing the tracks.

Did they changed the controls? My main problem with the game was the handling on the Wii U. It didnt control very well or responsive...so how are the control in the Switch version?

Slightly off topic, but has anyone else had this problem? Tried purchasing this both on the switch itself on the eshop through the nintendo website and every time I enter my details it says "Please verify the information that you have entered."

I am enjoying this one far more than on Wii U. This is must buy for Switch. Looks great docked.

Even just the rebalanced difficulty goes a long way in making it more engaging and approachable.
I'm guessing the higer difficulties are still though as ever but the lowest difficulty is pretty managable for me now. I pretty much always got my ass handed to me by the AI on the Wii U.

Fuck yes! Thank you based Shin'en.

With this update I will have no qualms about recommending Fast RMX to any racing game fan.

Enjoying the hell out of this game.

Bought it today and really liking it so far. The speed is great, controls are tight and it has everything that I missed as a fan of futuristic racing games in the last few years.

Unfortunately, my JoyCon problems keep me from enjoying this game on the TV. But that is not Shinen's fault.

For some reason I'm really enjoying this more on Switch than on Wii U.

Part of it seems it overall looks alot cleaner, I can take it anywhere ( which lets me get a quick race in here and there) and I can play with split controllers.

It's all just nice.

Plinko

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
I recommend Snake Pass coming on the 28th.

But in the meantime this should be just fine.

Snake Pass is a physics-based puzzler with complicated controls, though. Not sure that would be great for a young one like that.

I'm not a racing game guy (besides kart games) but I had a friend coming over last night who wanted to see the switch and I got this on a whim so we could play two player.

The funny thing is, this was the most fun we had all night. I am absolute garbage at this game and don't see myself ever being able to get much better, but the game is really fun!
