Gokaiger is a great Sentai to get started with, as it also serves as a sampler for other seasons. My other favorites are Jetman, Gekiranger, Timeranger, and Kyoryuger.

I feel like Gokaiger is best experienced after watching a couple of other seasons so seeing old characters return has more impact. Though I realize the target audience probably hadn't seen these characters either, so I guess it works either way.
