That main thing with Neo-Saban is how they tell the actors to say their lines. They delivery them like they're talking to infants....I know PR is a kids show but come on lol...
I'd just do condensed series movies. End with Lightspeed or Time Force. Maybe make In Space and Lost Galaxy one film.
This feels like someone they say but then never happens.

If I get a fun time out of the movie this weekend because it's Power Rangers, I'd be down for sequels/adaptations of the different teams. As long as I get the fun out of it like regular power rangers.
Wasn't Power Rider the mumblings of a madman on the Samurai team?

oh there is some nice footage from a movie involving the Pink Ranger (nothing nude or anything) and another one starring Kat...that one did have a topless scene.

The Japanese fandom is basically a mirror of the western fandom. including thinking that Power Rangers is better than Sentai, because of the Hollywood-ification.

Yeah, I'm praying this isn't all for nothing and we get an actual franchise out of this. If the movie does well, it could help the TV series. IF not....then we might continue getting mediocre seasons until it's time to put it out to pasture.

If anything it'll be the other way around. If the movie succeeds and gets the show a ratings boost then they'll just keep doing what they're doing, while if it fails then it'll tell Saban that cheese, fart jokes and 90s nostalgia isn't enough to keep people interested and they might actually start trying things again.

I'm all in for the movie. A Zeo sequel with movie Tanya, Adam and a non Rocky-Rocky would be epic. I'm glad they are bringing in elements from later seasons. Love that kind of world building.
By bringing in new fans, increasing ratings, etc. Just introducing a new audience to Power Rangers so there's a reason for them to try again.
I can see that. Rolling Zedd with the White ranger works as Zedd can take the Green Rangers power at the start and destroy the zords leading way to thunder.

plenty of Sentai/Toku villainess were former porn stars...that's actually kind of the point of the joke with Akibaranger(which is aimed at a slightly older audience).
There's also this. I mean after Super Megaforce, it seems like they were on the way to doin this. Dino Charge was better than every other Neo Saban season, but then something happened with Super Charge and Ninja Steel.

Eh I don't see the issue with it. They'll most likely never make them all. There will be a sequel no doubt. But you never know. It just might be good enough to keep coasting on.
Hell I know a lot of people my age and older going to see it this weekend
