You know what, I never realized before that Trunks basically had the same hairstyle as 17 when he had long, unattached hair (in the latter half of the Cell Saga and Bojack Unbound).

About the 28 planets, what about Magetta's U7 planet? Kaioshin mentioned it in the U6 saga.

They're older than Gohan was in the Cell Games. I actually haven't paid attention to the passage of time in Super or the movies at all until it was pointed out in this thread; for some reason I assumed that it was still maybe a year or two past the Majin Buu saga.

I was hoping for Gohan style gradual growth but it looks like we are going to get Goku style jumps from kids to adults. Marron is the worst offender, she still seems like a three year old.
If we settle for this, I won't tolerate that we don't go for the OT17 crossed thing along with it.

What do you think the chances that Future Trunks returns again in the future? If it happens, I don't think he will come back willingly, but Goku or Vegeta getting permission from Whis or Beerus to come get him for help. Maybe in the next Tournament of Power or some universal event happens and they need Trunk's help.
I am kinda disappointed that they're blowing their load on introducing us to all these universes at once without having any exploration of U6. I personally enjoy more of a slow build with storytelling that allows for some world building and exploration. I even like the Namek Saga filler episodes with Fake Namek and those strange space warriors. I really wish there was more space exploration, which is one good thing that we all can agree on that GT did well.
If I was writing Super it would go like this.
1) Beerus Arc
2) Frieza Arc
3) U6 Tournament (U7 loses)
4) Universe 6 exploration arc to get back to Uni 7
5) Future Trunks Arc
6) Universe 10 Arc
7) Demon Realm Arc (This arc introduces more universes)
8) Tournament of Power
9) Timeskip

Speculation.
But keep in mind every single one of my speculations has come true for the past 7 months. ;o
They depicted Goten and Trunks wanting to train in this arc, and given the treatment given to everybody, I'm sure they'll have their own mini arc just for themselves and maybe Jaco, to take them in space adventures without Goku and co.

They're both similar looking teenagers/teenager looking people who represent 90's aesthetics, it makes sense
