I hope this isn't something that's going to sell out instantly or anything. I guess it probably won't be. I work third shift so I won't be able to get to buy a ticket until the afternoon probably. Kind of hate that I have to fly somewhere, but to hell with it, who knows how long they'll last this time and I know they'll never come anywhere close to where I currently live.

No word yet on who's opening for the Seattle show, but my 12-year-old has decided he wants to come with me, as his first concert experience. So as long as we can get tickets Friday morning, it'll be a great time.

Opener has been mentioned as Danny Brown. Also Electronic Beats has announced a Gorillaz press conference on Thursday. Not sure what that will fully entail besides the album stream.

Looks like Gorillaz are hosting a "House Party" (listening party) in London's Soho Square on Friday. I'd pop along if it wasn't my wife's birthday, but I thought I'd mention it to you fine folks.

Hahaha! She does already (we're both going to the Margate Demon Dayz show) but we've already got plans. What sucks is that she's most likely going to have to travel through Soho in order to come home. If I wasn't firing up a BBQ for her, I'd have met her at work and "stumbled" upon Gorillaz on the way back.

Closest they're coming is Seattle. No Vancouver this time around.

Fuck it, gonna cross the border and go. It'll be a good end of summer/birthday trip for me.

You mean KKK imagery? The album is based around the idea of "what if Trump won"
Except that's also our reality and as you can see in the news, there's a lot of that going around.

The books have nothing to do with Phase 4 outside of bridging the gap.

Not sure what video imagery you're talking about.

Bruh, do some research.

That's Russel, who is apart of the Gorillaz (A character) who was turned into a giant during Plastic Beach because of the pollution from the sea. North Korea (The asian people depicted) captured him and used him as an attraction like Gulivers Travels, but he eventually turned back to normal size so they let him go or whatever. You're being silly. Anything else is just Jamie Hewlett's current art style. This has nothing to do with racism.

The way it sounds is it's being done in a similar manner to the Moon Shaped Pool deluxe edition.
