Haven't tried it yet myself, but Amazon (Prime) supposedly has some. Be interested in recommendations though.
I don't think the content is actually live yet.

I agree completely. When marques said it was difficult, it had me worried, but I have no problem at all reaching the sensor and I don't even have to stretch. It's not confusing and I have yet to touch the camera by mistake. It just seems like it was way overblownSo now that I have my S8 plus I guess I'll update this.
As I thought, the fingerprint scanner is easy as hell for me to use.
Again, I don't know if it's because I got myself used to putting g my finger on the heart rate monitor on my S7E, but the fingerprint scanner is so easy to use......
I literally cannot BELIEVE the way professional reviewers, ESPECIALLY those with large hands (sorry mkbhd but....) are behaving like they have to use two hands to use the scanner.......wtf?. Just stop. Please. Just stop.
With any kind of case or even a skin, it's incredibly easy to feel for the scanner.
For those with smaller hands, okay. These phones are tall. Especially the plus. That doesn't change the fact that it takes the same if not more effort to swipe down the notification bar. You use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone and dont use it again till you stop using the phone lo g enough that the screen goes off. Pulling on the notification bar is a much more frequent task and much harder for small hands. Yet everyone is hung up on the scanner.
And we're not even talking about the fact that instead of having to press the home button first like on the S7E, we can just touch the scanner and i stantly be in the phone. Thats a level of improvement to the point where I couldn't be assed to even use the S7E scanner due to the extra to.e and step it took.
Maybe it's the fact that the S7E is the only phone I've owned with a fingerprint scanner, but it seems to me like many people, ESPECIALLY reviewers with huuuuuuugr hands, are more upset that they have to adjust their muscle memory to do so.ething different, more than the S8s scanner is "wrong". It reminds me of the days where phones would get marked down because they didn't "feel like an iphone".
I'm not saying that the scanner location is perfect, but after using it myself I can't help but be annoyed by the fact that almost every review or preview I've seen apart from youtubetechguy had me fretting about something that is actually pretty damn simple to use.

I ordered one from Vodafone, one from Very.co.uk. Vodafone shipped with DPD and Very used Royal Mail. Sorry

I'm liking my phone so far! It's amazing and awesome how easy the transfer of apps + pictures and everything is. Technology fucking rips! Also if you don't have Nova Launcher installed, wtf are you doing. Do it right now this instant.
Very. I don't have the biggest hands in the world, and it's perfectly fine on the S8+.lol, every review has this as the main complaint too. Do you think that it's inaccurate?
I don't have the phone so can't tell you if it works in the respective apps but as others have pointed out Amazon Prime has several HDR shows, so does Netflix (as long as you're subscribed to the highest plan) and YouTube.Where can you see HDR videos?
Show me why i need the Nova launcher.

Trump sized hands should be fine with either phone.

That storm trooper pic looks incredible. 😍 How does the cropping feel in 16:9 and 21:9 media?

Ordered a case. Anyone know where to get a screen protector or is it not really needed? Uk too btw
None of that stuff is actually HDR on the phone yet.
I prefer not to crop 16:9 so I still with the pillars. 21:9 is the bomb though. It fills up the whole screen minus the curved edges so you don't get any glare on the actual content.
What's 21:9 these days? YouTube trailers?
I think I heard vlc player allows zoom to fit. Maybe I'll try loading some movies on the phone.
A lot of movies are 21:9, not sure what else. What's 21:9 these days? YouTube trailers?

I also agree. I only have the S8, but reaching the sensor is super easy and I haven't accidently touched the camera once. I don't understand how they made so many complaints about how often you are going to touch your camera.
It is still a little downside that it's on the back. It's just a minor inconvenience to pick it up off my desk to unlock instead of just tapping it with my thumb, but other than that, the sensor is solid.

The new VR has a little wider view I believe. And it's USB type C by default, but other than that, no big changes.
You can customize/theme your home screen anyway you want. Set up gestures to open apps or turn off screen. Create a stock experience instead of using the bloat Samsung launcher. It's worth every penny of the few dollars. This has been in use for years and developers are still updating/adding features to this day.
Yep, I believe it's just a Bluetooth controller.Ah, alright.
Can the controller work the original Gear VR?
How do I get that theme???You can customize/theme your home screen anyway you want. Set up gestures to open apps or turn off screen. Did yours say it would be available on 4/21 when you first ordered?
I got a case off of Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XP517YT/?tag=neogaf0e-20
I wanted to get the S-View Samsung case, but not sure I want to spend $60 or have one with a folio style.
That's the thing with these curved screens sadly. Can't really protect without ruining its design.I have one of these too(the Spigen), and I don't know if I like it. With it on, I feel like you lose something in relation to how the phone should feel in your hand. Especially with the curved edges on the side. Are there any cases that offer protection that don't sacrifice the form factor too much (I assume the only way to keep it completely is with no case at all)?
