Top three (bc it is too hard to chose just one)

Austin EastCiders
Woodchuck Gumption
Strongbow (Original)

I highly recommend Gumption to cider lovers. Also the Woodchuck Day Chaser is up there for me.

Woodchuck is always a solid choice for cider and varieties of cider. 👌🏼

This is probably me and my wife's favorite cider, a bit expensive and out of the way to get, but it's super good.

Austin EastCiders Pineapple is the best cider out there. Anybody who says different is wrong.

I always buy a few different cans but I can't remember which I liked best, I should write it down next time

Pineapple cider? I need to acquire that for my gf

Yeah, I enjoy cider. Angry Orchard is surprisingly good for such a mainstream brand, and Woodchuck is great as well. I also like dry cider from time to time, it's a nice change of pace from the sweet ciders that are popular in the US. I also had Blood Orange Cider at a barcade recently and it was surprisingly good, reminded me of a mimosa.

Redd's is the only cider I've had that I can say kinda sucks.

Where do you get not super sweet stuff in the Midwest? I would love to try some that isn't the candy drink you can normally buy.

I recently went to a Cideria (and mead) bar and it was some of the most delicious stuff ever. So many flavors, I've bevome fond of pear.

Brand wise I like Stella.

I don't drink it a lot, but I do enjoy Finn River Ciders. My girlfriend knows a few people that work for them, so we got the hookup when we toured their cidery.

Not my picture, but I've tried most of what they offer.

Woodchuck is not super sweet. I'm pretty sure it's sold nationally, so you should be able to find it in the midwest.

I love cider, it's my beer-like of choice.

Angry Orchard is always good. Eastciders here in Austin makes a lot of good flavors. Dry is pretty tart while the Honey is smooth. I didn't care for their Hops or Pineapple, but I'm trying their Blood Orange for the first time right now and it's great.

Woodchuck is a sweet cider. Something like Magners(dry) or Hand and Malt(sour) are both good options for a different experience.

This is info I need. Good dry cider. Thanks.

I've had Woodchuck in the past and found the red bottle to be too sugary. I could sample other varieties I guess!

You'll have to dig around. Where are you in the Midwest? If you're near Michigan at all, some of the smaller places have excellent choices because, well, Michigan. I always stock up on cider when I'm there. Maybe go in with a friend and buy a few different things. With the national brands, sometimes you can get lucky with the seasonals or limited editions, but most are pretty sweet.

If all you can find are the nationals, try Angry Orchard's Stone Dry or any green apple. I've got the Easy Apple AO right now - just trying it - and cannot really recommend. It's quite basic. :/ I'm not a huge AO person tho.

I've always liked the Woodchuck ciders. I usually get Amber or Granny Smith depending on what I feel like.

In the summer they run a special batch made with Blueberry's which is really good. Other than that it's too sweet for my liking these days. But they are a local place so I'll have one every once in a while. The pride and joy of Vermont when it comes to ciders is Citizen Cider;

Unified Press is hands down my favorite, but now I want to give some of them another shot.

I was about to recommend Euston Cider Tap, but I discovered that it closed last year. I had many a pleasant afternoon drinking there when I lived in London.

Now I live in Cambodia, it's hard to get good cider. There's Magner's, Somersby, Savanna Dry, and two local brands. Brunties and Kampot Cider. The former is way too sweet, and the latter is way too dry. I generally go for Magner's or Somersby.

If you can find this, buy it and try it. I've tried a good number of ciders before and after this and none compare (although the other J.K. types are good too). They're a Michigan brand so if you're in that area it's probably easy to find.

I really enjoy JK's Scrumpy and they carry it in my local Costco. The orchard where they make it is all organic and located in Flushing, MI (which is where I grew up).

I'm right outside Indy. There are a ton of fantastic breweries within 30-45 minutes of my house. But I don't think any of them ever do Ciders.

Love ciders, but all we get in my country is Somersby and some other brand that isn't very good. Will be checking out the new cider bar in my university town when I visit next month though.

Oh, howdy, neighbor; I'm in grad school at Purdue. You should be able to find some interesting things around and some of the local shops started selling Vander Mill last year, which I highly recommend.

Wow

My Cider is lacking and washed with overly sweet stuff

That's why I like theives over Bulmers because of the flat less sour taste

But I need to explore

Also point me to the Pineapple Cider plz

I've been getting into them. Discovering the good stuff that's more complex and tart than cloyingly sweet was eye opening. Schilling's rhubarb and ginger are delicious.

Woodchuck's pear flavor is pretty nice. Their granny smith one is decent too.

Angry orchard is also decent, really like their green apple variety.

My local renaissance festival will serve angry orchard mixed with a local winery's raspberry wine, and it's delicious.

Cider Jack was also excellent, but they went out of business a looong time ago. I bought a couple cases with a friend when we found out and drank them sparingly.

I love Woodchuck Granny Smith. Nothing has come close for me. Doc's Draft is really good also.

Cider's pretty much the only thing I drink nowadays (on the rare occasions when I actually drink alcohol).

I enjoy all the ones that are easily available where I live; Somersby, Rekorderlig, Five Seeds, Strongbow etc. Wouldn't mind expanding my horizons a bit though. For example, this:

Love this stuff. Also any pineapple cider in general.

Looks amazing.

Woodchuck Amber is my favorite standard cider. If you like sweet drinks with spice the Woodchuck Fall is godtier. Not for everyone though.

Recently I tried one of these and thought it was excellent 8.6% alcohol I think.
