What's the better brand here, ASUS or Lenovo? My Sister has a Lenovo IdeaPad (lower specs, Intel i5) and it's a fantastic and incredibly well built machine. Is ASUS a decent brand too? Also keep in mind I don't really need a monster GPU here, just something to play games like Sonic Mania. Predominantly I'm looking for something super quick to run Spotify and Final Draft, as a screenwriter so I just need something that's reliable and fast. Games are pretty secondary here. I need a work machine.
It would be lovely however to have something that can run Doom anyway, but it's not a priority.
So good choices? And is ASUS any good?
