The dot crosshair has always been too small. Making it a bit thicker will help immensely.

No, the lootbox content is generated when you get them and not when they are open.

No, loot boxes are not really random. Once you get the loot box the items inside are set in stone. So hording them wont change as they are already set from the second you get them.

I hear nothing but the worst in regards to throwers on console.
I had someone throw a PC GM Comp game, because our Mei missed her right-click on a frozen target and someone else cleaned up the kill.
Throwers are ubiquitous.

I get a thrower at least every third game on ps4 this season.
I would assume that is probably because of kids having more consoles than PCs.

That seems like promising a lot to me. My only point is that it's probably usually more valuable to get 2 picks with your ult right from the start of the teamfight instead of making cleanup a little easier by trying to wait for out of mech dva.
I was pretty happy with all the dance emotes we got.... With the exception of Torbjorn's, which is easily the weakest out of the bunch.
BTW, what kind of cosmetic stuff do you guys think we will get for the next event?
It depends on the situation, but I want to get the most value out of it instead of using it compulsively. *shrug*

An ult that kills 2 has the same value as an ult that team wipe if those picks end up winning the team fight for you, more value even since you get to fill up your next ult more during the clean-up.
Good point, and well made, at that.
(Come to think of it, I do wish Mercy's charge rate is slowed down a smidgen. That healer can fart out Resurrections like there's no tomorrow. )

I'd go 4 if they're intent on nerfing his one-shot kill potential. Helps keep people afraid without the disappointment of instant death punishment for bad positioning.

Just had a game where I (Zen) stumbled upon my Sombra and the enemy Mercy 1v1ing to the death. Stepped in and got murdered. Watched the replay and Mercy was camping a health pack. Isn't that Sombra's thing? Golden gun Mercy, so it's not horrifically embarrassing, but still. A little help here.
Revert it back to 6 again and see what happens. 4 is way too short for what it does even without the OHKO potential anymore.

One unexpected benefit of playing Orisa for the ult charge bug is you get some very good SR bonuses pretty easily, for easily outperforming what they expect from orisa.

Played 12 comp games tonight, all losses but only 2 were 6v6 games.
10 out of 12 had a leaver on my team within the first 2 minutes. Went from 21something to 18something.
Mid plat last season now mid silver lulz.
The fucked up part is its gonna fuck up my placements for next season.
I give up, the system is beyond broken in my eyes.

Oh this wasn't all at once, this is throughout the day.
I never play more than 3 games in a row win or lose without at least a 30 minute break.
Like, I don't even mind taking the L if my team gets out played, I can learn from that.
I'm just getting tired of being punished because other people say fuck it and leave.
I've lost my sanity quite a few times due to Mercy mains.
Very few tears would be shed if she got deleted from the roster, and all these incompetent players could pick up something else... Or leave competitive forever.
One of my friends is a D.Va/Soldier/Mercy main, and she quivers whenever someone picks up Mercy....Who only as a minute on the character. D:

I have a chick on my friend list that only plays mercy, every season she has been silver never getting above 1900...she's diamond this season.
Last I checked she was like 150sr from masters.
Yeah, my friend is just a 100 shy away from Diamond, but the onslaught of Hanzo's and Widowmakers are halting her to get any higher.

I only played 2 comp games tonight because playing solo is insane.
Second game I played our team had a 2 stack and 4 solo, surprisingly everyone was on mic, the 2 stack picks Hanzo and Mercy, everyone else is talking about who to play, the Hanzo chimes in "well you guys need another healer cause this is my Mercy."
I laughed it off but sure enough the Mercy solely healed the Hanzo and when he would die she would purposely get herself killed to spawn with Hanzo again.

Just had two games where traditional team comp strategies would have screwed us if I didn't go against it.
First was a game where a Soldier switched to roadhog for 2-2-2, and as a zenyatta with lucio and no one else to deal with pharah, I had to beg the roadhog to switch back to soldier, dispite no one else wanting to tank. Finally won after that.
Second was me as a tank main being forced to DPS because apparently they really wanted Rein instead of my Orisa and I don't play Rein. The Rein they replaced me with was absolutely terrible, and with 2 mins left I switched to Orisa despite 3 tanks to give our team some actual aggressive protection and we won the game from there, despite it being too late to take advantage of the bug.
I really do wish people were slightly less willing to flex to characters they aren't good at. Occasionally a bad player that fills a crucial role is better than a good one playing an unneeded role, but it's less often than people think. Especially if your only thought going into it is trying to assemble the typical soldier, genji, rein, dva, lucio, mercy team comp every single game without any thought beyond that.

Maybe we're doing it wrong. Maybe we should be the ones making shitty picks to force the other guys to form a nice comp, or to throw and make the most random comp ever. From now on, I'll be a Hanzo main, that quickplay match yesterday settled it.
