Seagull just got so tilted. He kills Mercy and 2 others with Dragonblade, says over mic "Mercy's down no res." Lucio drops the beat. Enemy Genji kills 5 with his ult after beat, including high energy Zarya with personal.

Lulz.

I was watchin him for like half an hour yesterday wrecking shit with Torb on Hanamura.

He had a couple hammer kills even.
 
As far as her non-legendary skins go, her White Rabbit & Taegeukgi Epic Skins are pretty great. Love the shade of blue with Taegeukgi, especially!

Oh yeah! Those are great. I'm hoping to get her summer games skin this year along with Mercys. For obvious reasons!


I like Cruiser a lot. I'll probably alternate between Officer and Cruiser for a while - they're definitely my favorites of hers.

I don't know why there is this huge gap between gold and plat players.

Thanks to my SR falling to dogshit levels I am now stuck with Gold players who can't kill for shit or just leave halfway through.

I wonder if they're just going to scrap individual contributions from SR altogether. It's producing so many problems. I play in the high M/low GM range and it's like every game includes a Mercy or a Sym that clearly doesn't belong at this rank; we're just praying they're not on our team.

Going up against this Tracer movement style is scary

Not sure how doable this is on Console though ..

Been moving like this since launch. There's actually no movement accel in this game, so you can spam various forms of ADAD as much as you want and be hard to hit. There actually used to be no "cooldown" on crouching which also basically has no accel too, so this shit used to be much more wild. They eventually changed how crouching works in a patch(wanna say during S2 or early S3) to make it occur some penalty for spamming.

The lack of movement accel is something high level players sometimes complain about btw. The game doesn't need to be CS or anything crazy like that, but having enough so ADAD spam is a bit less good would be welcome by quite a few.
 
Had a qp game last night on Horizon Arcade. Two guys come in and berate our teams composition, how qp sucks, how people without mics suck, judging other players ults, our Mercy, and so on.

I think they should go to a flat 25SR gain per win, 25SR for loss, maybe giving up to 5 extra for a win where you frag out.

After playing some Paladins, I like a design approach where tanks and support characters can do solid damage instead of one where people say "You're a tank, so you shouldn't be killing things."

All the tanks in OW do solid damage, if you want to support high level lucio can kill things and support just fine. Xen shits out damage as well as support, then there is anna with the sleep dart and no heal grenades that leads to kills while doing solid damage herself

If people are saying "you're a tank you shouldn't be killing things" they are either bad, or the tank is charging in at random dying over and over instead of helping the team, most likely both at the same time.

It's Paladins where the DPS/Flankers are the ones doing the heavy lifting on kills. Overwatch's tanks and supports are much more capable.

It's more about how people keep saying Roadhog shouldn't be doing damage.

No one is saying this that actually plays the game seriously, What people complain about are the shitty roadhogs that think they are hot shit and try to flank all day because they could insta gib 1 person then die in the process giving the other team a crap ton of free ult. Or they dont even do that so its 6 v 5 with a crap ton of free ult for the other team. People wanted the one shot aspect tonned down so the stupid ass try hards that think they are hot shit and cost people games would drop the character. His damage output at the moment is still very close to what it was before just not in the form of instant burst damage

But... He's better at dealing damage than he is at tanking!

That's not really a problem. The problem was he had instakill tier damage with that health pool and that range of influence. He needed to deal less damage than he was before by a decent margin. They did that, and he still actually deals more than enough damage to kill shit.

There are problems with a strictly win rate-oriented system too, but I think it's better than this so long as the heroes are balanced.

Coming directly from Q3A I find the very short accel to be one of the best things about OW movement. Aim is already downplayed so much that I find this complaint more than a little bit strange.

The crouch change was good though.
 
lul I just checked out my clips from the beta and I had one where I was winston going against a bastion and I put my shield in front and tried to kill him head on and got shredded, he was also being damage boosted by a mercy (that I probably didn't even realize when I recorded it)

I'm pretty sure I used that as "proof" that Bastion was OP at the time.

People aren't asking for a lot of accel mind you. Just enough so that you can't instantly change directions while strafing like that. It's just a tiny bit absurd. Don't think it will ever happen though. The crouch thing only got changed because assholes like me bound it to mousewheel and it spread to reddit.

Lol that's just a-d spam after blinking. I guess it can help a bit in throwing off the accuracy of the person aiming at you especially a Widow player. But I wouldn't try it that much against guys like Soldier, Mccree or Roadhog. That is instant death.

Yeah, Mercy's Summer Games Skin is pretty nice, despite being a simple recolour with Switzerland's flag. I used it quite a bit before unlocking Sigrun.

I honestly wouldn't mind if the next bunch of Epic skins for the event follow this theme, as most of them looked awesome. Even Torb's Sweden-themed recolour looked great.

As Mercy, I once took out a Soldier and Junkrat with my entire team dead in the very last seconds of a payload map that the enemy was about to win.

Don't underestimate Mercy's.

As a mercy on defense, i was once left behind the enemy team as they were advancing. An Ana and a roadhog decide to backtrack and chase me down. I killed both of them. Started off killing the Ana, then the Roadhog.

That was quite a high for me.
 
I'm never sure what to at the start of a payload match playing dva on defense, should I be getting on the payload and stalling? Sitting with the healers? Diving?
