Well, honestly, the way you play is. Ranked is good for match-up knowledge and getting used to a more "serious" environment where everyone wants to win at all cost. The way it was designed until now though is that at lower ranks, you can get very far with just abusing something that people are unfamiliar with. In a best of 3 or first to 3, people will immediately catch up and destroy you for this, even if they fell for it in the first match.
And at higher levels, meh... your rank means nothing if you get destroyed by everyone even 10 ranks below you.

No idea why it doesn't just freeze it after the first matches are played.

Agreed and surprised/disappointed they didn't fix this, because it would be so easy. Not sure I'd call them sore losers though, more like people that don't want to waste a bunch of time for no reason. It's totally Namco's fault there's an issue, not the players.

Apparently your name gets highlighted yellow. Then eventually you only can play a against other people who quit for a while

Did the new patch stop certain trophies from being obtained in practice mode?
Trying to get the 10 hit combo one, and landed a couple, but nothing popped up. This one seems really hard to get in an actual match.

Got Lucky Chloe all the way to yellow ranks, and decided that PS4 ranked is too stressful. I'll be sticking with Player match first to 3s from now on.
Lucky Chloe feels like a less solid Lee, but she does such explosive damage that I feel like I can always make a comeback. Whereas with Lee having a big life deficit feels more hopeless.
Lover her 50/50 mix-up from her command throw that can potentially give a 50% combo.

lolwut? This song is fucking awful. It is just noise. Trash tier.
In a game where you have an amazing select a character track, main menu music track, infinite zure, precipice music, and much more you picked this abomination as "hype" and "good" ? It could be years and I would still think it's noise.
That song isn't like Indestructible from vanilla SF4 where people were like "meh" about it at first, then begging for it and hail it as awesome now when we look back on it.

Drag easily won the first two rounds. Then I came back with some db3s and hopkicks. Got to final round. Drag landed a sick wall combo on me. Got down to a silver bit of health. I got up and whiffed a low jab but he just started walking backward instead of punishing me. i just ran up to him and did my Rage Drive (OP dragontail) and it did just enough damage for the win. Got away with murder lmao

She can't reverse elbows, knees, heads, shoulders and lows abviously. Also some airborne moves like Kazuya's f,d,df+3 superkick. She also can't reverse scissor kicks 4~3 but other characters like Paul, Nina,(many others in previous games) can.

I won like four sets tonight by just using my pokes and jabs constantly.
People have trouble when you're pressuring them with stuff that's hard to punish on reaction.
Then you go for grabs.

For the PC gamers, I am new to the whole thing only moved over to PC to play Tekken 7 but I am unsure if I should run V-sync or not? I have a normal 1080p curved monitor that is 60hz.
vsync off = lowest input lag at the cost of screen tearing. If you never seen screen tearing,when a lot of fast movement is happening, it will look like someone is cutting your screen in half.
vsync on = increases input lag but still less than ps4's input lag. No screen tearing.

I would highly suggest vsync, tearing is unacceptable and vsync input lag is minimal.

They better not have fucked with the color for Lili customisations
Try to press the Y/Triangle button when you are on top of the desired color in the customization. It should allow you to modify the color in more depth. You can make grays appear more black and you should be able to make the color brown for hair, etc.
