PC players will a GTX 1050 OC 2GB card be sufficient for this?

I am currently running an MSI GTX 960 2gb. I have no clue if higher numbers mean better card and what not :p

A 960 will run the game.
A 1050 will def run the game with decent settings

There will literally be no improvement.

a 960 should be able to do ultra 1080p 60fps

Yeah I was surprised how much I liked infinite revenge. Question - Does players met not work, or is it just me? I had a good mini session with a Katarina player, and wanted to say GGs, but I went to players met it and said I hadn't met anyone. Can you see PSN IDs of people you've played?

No I don't think it works, I had the same situation lol. I need to remember to view profile from the menu next time.

Can confirm the patch improved the frequency of matchmaking substantially.

PS4 lag is still major issue however.

Yes you can. I make lots of new friends that way. PS4 players met is borked right now for some odd reason. I'm not sure what method I use. I usually press a menu button while in game and it takes me to their ID and then I have to send a friend request. I like it like this is keeps down on the raging hate mail, well at least for me it does.

I need help.

I have an Electric Wind God Fist addiction, the Mishima move is a Just Frame has to be hit 1-3/60's of a second.

At first it was hard to do, like would get 1/10 tries, now i'm up to 50-70% of the time I get it... But I need it at 99%.

At first I used to "Play" Tekken, now I find myself in the LAB spending 1-2 hours practicing this move... It's so good. But so hard. But so satisfying when you get it.

Watching JCDR wave dash into an Eletric like he's drinking a glass of water, he makes it looks so easy, it's awe inspiring and I got be able to do it!

But now I'm just in the LAB, and when i do play PvP im focusing too much on the EWGF...

Anyone have more tips, or suggestions how to set-up the EWGF more often? Or perhaps stop my strange addicition?

Sincerely,
Electricity Lover

Sounds like me with Lee's wall carry. Don't get lost in the vortex, focus on fundamentals if you're new (like me), that's they only way you'll rank up and get better.

Also Lee has some backflip move, u/b4 I think? But it only comes out of a certain stance and I can't tell what it is. While crouching? While rising? I'm not sure. Sometimes i can do it when getting up but most reliably I can get it if I do it real quick while crouching...It would be a good wake up if I could get it down, glanced over the move list but I don't think it's in there.

When a move is listed as 'low crush', does that mean it avoids lows or crouching moves? d+1 seems to get crushed by hop-kicks etc., but it's a special mid, and not a low.

In the rematch window there is an option to go to profile from there you can send them a friend request.

A low crush move crushes lows. =D Usually it means it hops over it, such as hopkicks do.

d1 is a special case in that it is a special mid that can be lowparried and lowcrushed.

In general there are also some moves that can go over or under some particular normal mids (but not all of them or not at all points of the startup and such).

All special mids can be low parried or low crushed.

Don't think that's true. For example, Akuma's DP is a special mid and you can't lowparry it.

I wish there would be an option to disable Rage Art. Two of my friends and myself aren't fond of this newly introduced feature and we deliberately don't use it (but sometimes manage to pull it off unintentionally). Even if the opponent actually DO use it, I'd prefer to deactivate it for myself.

That's an exception for a SF character using SF rules where crouch guarding will block a DP. I can't think of any Tekken character that can execute a special mid that cannot be low parried.

Well, there's a bunch of those exceptions now in Eliza and Akuma's movesets. In fact they probably have more non duckjab s.mids than the rest of the cast put together. It's not even just special moves or projectiles either, Akuma's 2 is Sm and so is Eliza's b4. Neither can be low parried.

So saying 'all s.mids can be low parried' might give people the wrong idea.

Finally got my Ling back up to fighter. Up in the upper green ranks, I see nothing but characters I struggle against, like Josie and her seemingly endless poke strings for counter bait, or King, with his pokes to get you to duck to hit you with his jumping knee for his staple combo, Jin with his mixups, and of course Steve and Hwoarang who can both kick rocks.

Where are the Jacks, Lucky Chloes, Akumas, Elizas, Lings, Kumas/Pandas, Laws, Alisas, Kazuyas up in those ranks that I can feast on? I don't even see no friggin Heihachis, and Shaheen, Master Raven, Bob, Lars, Leo, etc appear so rarely that I don't even know how to fight them.

I also hate it, but as you GIT GUD you will find ways to not get caught. In fact, most of them put the user at a massive disadvantage on block, opening them up for a punish.

Even my friends don't like it, but that's because other than me the only fighters they play are Smash and Tekken.

Rage Art also ignores incoming damage and just moves on :(. But to put balancing or 'git gud' discussions aside, I find it disrupts the flow of the gameplay awfully. I'm not a fan of such 'cinematics' going on for like five seconds. That's not how I want a fast-paced fighting game with straight-on gameplay. I recognize it looks sort of 'cool' and 'badass' but I prefer actual gameplay. Those split second 'zoom ins' with some moves are okay for it's subtle and accentuated. Rage Art is just too much of it.

At least an option would be nice.

I have a MSI Gaming GTX 960 2gb card right now and I'm playing Tekken 7 at 1080p on ultra settings. Though, vsync is turned off, but that's because I want minimal input lag. The only time you'll see frame drops is during the load menu. It will drop to 30 fps, but it doesn't do that during actual matches. I also have an i3 4170.

has anyone's button binds gone back to default at random times like when going online? PS4 here.

I have it on default expect I turn off the analog stick and I've noticed I have to go to control options and confirm it again when I start the game or the analog stick will be turned on.

Rage Art provides comeback opportunities for people who are getting rushed down, and forces people who are 100% offense to choose their openings more carefully.

That's what I mean - it only happens to characters with SF mechanics, right? This doesn't happen with pure Tekken characters if I'm not mistaken. Which non-SF type character has a special mid that can't be low parried?

Finally reached the orange ranks. That was pretty much my goal, doubt I'll ever make it further lol
Time to try out a new character for a change. Gonna lab a little with Gigas tomorrow.

Infinite revenge match in ranked is definitely a game changer. Amazing addition. Now it's just like the arcades.

Now just fix all the other QoL issues, lower ps4 input lag more, and add replays pls thx.

This must not be in the US yet.

Cuz I would be farming the snot out of some ranks off fools if this were here.

Yeah, infinite rematch is definitely alleviating some of the frustration. I think I've played more matches in the last two days than I have in all the other days since release combined.

*edit* Came across a pretty fun youtube video about the Mishima Saga.

But we saw combacks in previous games the 'old school' way. Nevertheless it disrupts the gameplay flow for me and my buddies. A simple punch—with a very short introduction—would be less 'flashy' and could do the same (like Paul's Death Fist). I'm less bothered with the balancing/damage output.

why in a tournament's final a Rematch occur ?

Next to each person there will be 2 yellow dots which is how many losses they can have before they get kicked, which basically means that the person from the winners bracket gets a second opportunity to win whereas the player from the losers bracket only gets one

Yep. If you're coming into grand finals on the loser's side of a double elimination tournament, you have to beat the winner's side guy twice to win it all.

That's the advantage of staying in winner's.
