I am so glad that I destroy Katarina now. Such a braindea character.

She is designed to be an easy to pickup character but she's in no way braindead. She relies on frametraps as that's a major part of her game but she's not the only one to do that.

I grew up playing fighters like everyone else, but I don't have the affinity for Geese as I do with Akuma, or even Rugal or Amakusa. Shao Kahn, Gill. So many fighting game bosses that I'm more fond of.

Maybe because I played Fatal Fury AFTER playing KoF. I don't remember playing Geese in any of the KoF games, either.

Maybe I just missed on the hype.

I don't think Kat is the best fighter of the new batch, but I agree she is the coolest looking and has an interesting fight style.

Best for competitive use is tough to call, but I'd lean more towards Josie or Claudio.

I am not good enough for tiers to matter much
But I'll complain losing to top tiers you can bet!

Finally got Josie to Brawler status after 102 wins... Man I need to practice some combos, it feels bad when you get hit by full combos by players and all you can do after a hopkick is some janky ass string or just one kick or punch.
Also endless revenge matches are amazing, really great to learn matchups that way and sofar the players I have been playing kept accepting, with good to great connection too.
Online has been really fast and good sofar on the PS4, way better than the first week.
I can see me playing T7 online way more often, gonna start playing some other characters too.

Gigas is so much fun. He's awful, but he's fun. Completely linear but damn if people don't know how to deal with linearity at low levels. I think I've genuinely only used six moves using him for the first time tonight and already got up to vindicator. If you have good instincts or can recognize when something is punishable you'll be able to win most of your matches just punishing with 1,2, whiff punishing with d+2, and spacing with d/b+2, d/f+1, and 1, occasionally using his command grab out of one of the buttons above buffered for 55 or near the wall for a cool 70 damage.

He'll definitely help with your fundamentals and spacing considering his dhalsim limbs and awful movement.

I'd like to be able to play as young Heihachi. And I mean the actual foxy young Heihachi from the story mode, not just his hair and moustache slapped on old Heihachi via customization.

I agree and despite being a fan of Tekken for over a decade. I struggle to get anything out of hour long tutorials. Which is why I made this tutorial for Ling Xiaoyu. Learn a Tekken character in 10 minutes or less!
