Went through the summary b/c I couldn't make it further than 12 minutes into that video, despite wanting to. This tendancy for journalists and surrogates to talk over each other in America is incredibly annoying to me. I never see this in Canadian news. It's culture-shock for me, it's incredibly rude and unprofessional and makes everyone look ignorant and childish.

I can't help but wonder if it's conscious mirroring. I really feel like everything Scaramucci says and does is crafted to please Trump. Like, he knows the things he's saying aren't true and make no sense to anyone, but Trump believes Scaramucci's saying them because he believes them and that's all that matters. He wants to gain Trump's favor at any cost.

Is he trying to say he put out an idiotic statement on purpose to root out leakers? And that the press reacting to his accusation towards Priebus proves that Priebus might be a leaker because the press would know if he was actually a leaker?

Anthony Scaramucci, Trump’s new communications director, just called into CNN and had a meltdown

New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza then confirmed that Scaramucci was, in fact, calling for an FBI investigation of the White House Chief of Staff.

Lizza called into CNN this morning to discuss his reporting. In a bizarre turn of events, in the middle of Lizza’s interview, Scaramucci also called into the show.

Scaramucci said that he and Trump had a message to deliver. That message was “we have a very, very good idea of who the leakers are, who the senior leakers are in the White House.” He described some of the leaks as “so treasonous that 150 years ago people would have been hung.”

He described the leak of his dinner last night with Sean Hannity as “totally reprehensible.” (He had called Lizza last night to try to get him to reveal the leaker of his dinner date. Lizza refused.)

It soon became clear that Scaramucci was, in fact, pinning the blame on Reince Preibus. “The fish stinks from the head,” Scaramucci said, “If Reince wants to explain he’s not a leaker, let him do that.”

Twitter is the best way to reach their online army - they can easily spin any statement as being "misinterpreted by the liberal media" because of the format, and they can later delete tweets/claim that screenshots are fake as their positions "evolve".

Harder to do with formal press conferences. All part of the policy of never admitting fault.

This guy seems majorly unhinged. So basically a mini-Trump. So, after he gets Reince's job; how soon do you think he's going to wrangle himself to be VP? Not even sure the legality of doing such a thing but I'm sure Trump would find a way or the GOP just wouldn't care. And if not, would just bully and badmouth Pence until he resigns.

Hell he hired the smartest man on the planet to fix a critical issue, and then listened to him! Sure, he sent him to die by giant dildo, but at least he tried the solution first.
