I feel like we are regressing with these 'transformations' if you take the blue aura its basically spike haired Goku or Super Saiyan Black.

It's complete bullshit that 17 is not going to be a character in FighterZ.
But forget all that...
LOOK AT GOHAN!!! Why the fuck isn't he wearing that Gi in the anime?!?! Man, it bums me out, he looks so good there.
At least then his fans will no longer have to suffer.

Gohan should have always stuck with blue, it's such a big part of his character going for Gokus outfit was a lame downgrade for him
I would at this point unless jiren does something and if it's traditional tournament
Rather have Ribranne or Toppo with a power up or transformation
Gohan's on a different path.

I was calling it a while ago and I'm still calling it now: Goku's new form isn't god-based. It is a demon form. He managed to tap into some demon power no one knew about.
VJump talks about his strong sense of justice and inherited (from Goku) fighting qualities that'll be on display during the tournament. Wish they would have gone into more specifics though.
I want his outfit to change, but please, no clothing beam.
I'm definitely expecting a transformation from Gohan. Maybe not in this arc but he's definitely hinting he can go further than his current ultimate form. Only problem is this simplistic design Goku's new form has would've been what I'd expect from an enhanced ultimate form. A different eye colour and maybe slightly spikier hair with a longer bang lol.
Hopefully any new forms for Gohan keep it simple. No different hair colour please.

Unless I missed something the reason Black showed up is because Goku beat Zamasu but the only reason Goku met Zamasu is because Black showed up in the Future so it makes no sense.

That is quite something to watch, saw the 5 minute version awhile back. I guess they'll keep updating them as new stuff happens.

In the manga, Gowasu organizes sparring matches between Kibito and Zamasu. It's possible that after seeing Goku on godtube, he asked Shin to bring Goku there. Then the results would be the same.

Something new here is the pause everyone does over the Zeno's erasing the first universe to loose. It's weird and interesting to see everyone's reactions in sync, and really shows how padded the episodes can get.
