NXT Takeover left people wanting to see where things were going with new stories like Cole and Friends coming in wrecking everyone.

SummerSlam was shit and led nowhere. Thus beach balls.

You can blame Cesaro for reacting to it or whatever but if they put on a good show that introduced compelling stories people probably wouldn't be doing this shit.
Boom, there it is.

I agree with that sentiment in general. The problem with the execution is that you know Vince is learning the wrong lesson from it. It's not "man, my shows really need to improve", it's "man, people obviously don't care about Miz and Joe or Finn or Cesaro or any of these guys that they toss Beach balls around for".

Maybe if Reigns stopped cocking his fist right in front Joe before doing a punch, Joe wouldn't actually see him coming and move out of the way.

He wasn't even aiming at Joe 😂😂😂

I would have loved for Braun to have cleared out the ring during that match.

Beach ball shit is annoying, but WWE shouldn't have put it in their 24 special.

To be fair, he did the exact same thing earlier and hit Joe. (At the time I asked why Joe didn't just push him into it, so that was fun later on)

WWE opened the floodgates for this bullshit. Commentary actually acknowledged the wave.

i'm guessing the show ended with roman and cena standing tall?

staring each other down?

commentators selling it like an epic moment in time to complete indifference/hatred from the crowd?

clip will inevitably be used in the cena/roman mania build video package?

You're guessing wrong. They just celebrated the win.

lmao, they didn't even do that.

Cole: "During that replay, Roman said "My bad" to John Cena"

I'd be surprised if they wait to do that match till Mania honestly

Giving them credit or benefit of the doubt is how we get Cena/Nakamura with a week build on a random SD just so Jinder can retain in an average bad Jinder Title Match

same as it ever was...

but no

They even tweeted about the stuff tonight. The same jackasses complaining about the cruiserweights or Finn's push are likely the same ones doing the wave and beach ball crap.

This could be the reply to all of Anth0ny's posts.

I get it. Summerslam is their 3rd biggest show of the year behind Mania and Rumble. People are paying god knows how much for those crazy travel packages. So I understand WWE (for once) not going fuck the fans. But it just makes these shows feel like glorified hosue shows, even when they pull out the "Bizarro Land" card.

Raw after the rumble is usually fun because it's the real start towards WrestleMania, the Raw after Mania has it's own reputation. This Raw was just another regular ass episode of Raw.

That's my fault for thinking they were going to do something crazy, lol

If Enzo was found dead tomorrow, would there even be a pre-show graphic?

He would be given a ten-bell salute with full honors:

In professional wrestling, a ten-bell salute is given to honor a wrestler who has died, especially when the wrestler is a current member of the promotion or a distinguished former member of the promotion. It is the professional wrestling equivalent of a three-volley salute. It is typically given at the beginning of a card, with the current members of the promotion either in the entryway, in the ring, or around the ring. Both the wrestlers and audience observe a moment of silence while the bell is rung.

Nak isn't as great as everyone says he is
Finn isn't over to the level he needs to be
Omega will be misused once he joins the WWE
Asuka is great
Jinder having the title instead of Nakamura right now is the right decision

stay worked, marks

Fixed for ya.

Especially that last one. Dudes want Nakamura to be world champion when on the mic he sounds like Freeza speaking his native language.

I remember when Braun debuted....we never thought he'd reach these heights. Not a single person.

Give this a watch, then join both me and dream as we invest heavily in blue chip Stroman stock. Size, uncanny speed, and a likable personality to boot. That's a main event player in the making right there.

I say you give him a few more weeks of squashes, then have him clash with WSM Mark Henry at the SummerSlam.

For the record, while both Heel and I are united in our appreciation of Adam, and our prospects for his potential in this wretched business that we call professional wrestling, we disagree violently on how to use Adam. Heel believes that this kid should be turned baby at some point. I disagree. I believe that turning him baby at any point will turn him into Big Show, and the best way to use Adam is to have him be a monster heel that's stronger and quicker than Brock for the rest of his career.

What say you, wrestling gaf?

That's the beauty of this investment, dream. I don't think you can go wrong here. It's clear that Adam is a man of many talents and styles. He's playing the brute, and he's playing it well, but it's also quite evident that he can be turned into a likable galoot if he runs out of legs.

What we learned from SummerSlam 2017: Braun Strowman is the greatest wrestler of all time

Just saying...
