Is she tall enough? isn't starfire like 6'5?
Starfire is a pretty dark character. Sold into sex slavery by her sister, she was later experimented on which gave her blasting powers(her people were already super strong and could fly)
I must say, as silly as it is, I'm quite attached to the way Starfire speaks in the cartoon. I hope they'll channel a little bit of that in the show.
Was this the show that had open race casting calls for everyone except Nightwing (who had to be white)?

I have no idea who this is, but then all the CW stars were unknowns to me.
What? Really?
Since she'll be an adult she won't be, to put it nicely, mentally challenged as she was in the cartoon.
"I mean, Tamaraneans are CLEARLY white! Just look at their ski-hmmmm..."*Makes angry white people noises*
Didnt stop Marvel from hiring a midget for Valkyrie.
But seriously though, given this is a TV show I fully expect her to look like a normal person until she turns her powers "on," at which point her eyes will glow green and they'll add fire CG effects to her hair.
Trump: As an orange person,I'll have to say failing DC has made a grave mistake with this clear discrimination. No one is more offended than me folks"I mean, Tamaraneans are CLEARLY white! Just look at their ski-hmmmm..."
Someone post the Harvey Birdman Super Volt clip
Good. But I'm worried how much older She and Dick will be and also what they write her personality like.
Now get Sam from supernatural to be dick and we are set!
She too, um... Too tan, that's it!
Not even that I'd wager. No orange skin at all, just the glowy eyes/hands and hair CG.You mean like a transformation? They would probably do that because of budget reasons.
Hey now.
They reached a nice middle ground between the cartoon and the 80s version in her latest comic from last year.
I love goofy Starfire but that entire series felt like it was trying too hard.
Yeah you know how comic fans areOk come on lets be honest here. When it comes to Starfire her complexion is not what most people are thinking or wondering about.
The animated DC movies made Dick and Starfire work as sort of the Teen Titans' babysitters, so I have trust in that dynamic.
But I'm hoping they portray her as the ditzy character she's been in the incarnations I've seen.
With Starfire there's cute ditzy like the way she mispronounces or goes way too in-depth with words and then there's "I don't know how to function and do basic shit" ditzy, which is annoying.

I mean comic fans are going to bitch if they don't have same exact shading of hair.Exactly. Is she going to have long flaming red orange hair or not.
Which costume and hair design are they gonna do? Are they gonna cover her up?

Probably what they will going forSince I doubt they do anything like her typical costume, just give me some purple alien armor I guess.
