You two contradict each other. I dunno who or what to believe.
I kinda worded it badly lol. It's about FotNS but gameplay wise it's very Yakuza like.

Dayumn that was a good transition. "You are already dead."Was the Yakuza 7 teaser leading into this posted though?

Why this dude making Bruce Lee noises?
So I just did a bit of research and realised that the Fist of the North Star manga has never been completely released in english. Officially I mean.
The fuck is up with that?
Damn thats pretty cool.
I wish they made a Gintama game though. It would be a perfect fit for a Yakuza game.

It's a Fist of the North Star game by the Yakuza developers and with a system inspired by the Yakuza series and the story rewritten to fit that format. The Japanese title of this game is "Hokuto ga Gotoku", while the Yakuza series is called "Ryu ga Gotoku".
Wait, so is the main guy the "you're already dead guy?"
Question for FOTNS fans:
I've seen the original OVA and loved it. Haven't watched the original series (I've read it's bad, though that may just be from a technical perspective). I looked up the manga and it seems only like half of it has been translated? What's recommended to get more into the series
Sad there is not Akira Kamiya for voices but i guess he is too old or too expensive given his rating.
He actually retired from the role a long time ago. That's why he never reprised it and we had a whole bunch of other actors taking over the role.

FotN is pretty dated in general but it basically invented the modern shounen story in a lot of ways but it can also get very repetitive. The anime series would be the way to go, Uncle Phil even voiced one of the villains in the dub but I can't remember if the whole thing was brought over and dubbed.
The series isnt bad in a sense beyond it's mediocre toei animation. It's super campy (Id argue the manga is as well)
Watch the show, if you dont like it, watch the movie.
Alright, I'll have to check out the series at some pointFotN is pretty dated in general but it basically invented the modern shounen story in a lot of ways but it can also get very repetitive. Fist of the North Star was an anime? I thought it was a movie.
I wanna say that there is one developer that fits the bill even more so than Capcom but they get mentioned so often on wishlists like these that mentioning them sounds like a joke...What's next? A berserk game by the monster hunter team?

How about a Berserk game?
What do mean 'how did rei' end up here?Essentially it's a what-if story. Since it doesn't follow the manga makes me wonder how Rei ended up here.
wasn't he already having vocal chord problems? Hope he recovers
Alright, I'll have to check out the series at some point
I just remember when I first looked into FOTNS I read that the OVA was an apology for the animation/lack of violence in the anime series so I steered clear. I think I was missing a decent amount of context for the OVA but I still really enjoyed it
Just warning. At least in my opinion first arc of the anime is by far the worst one. It gets better after that.
this year? no one has said thisEveryone: SEGA is dead
