I thought last night's game was fantastic. Both teams struck me as young teams on the way up, even if they might both have pretty poor records this year.
It was cool seeing Hyde and Gurley both play well. It felt like a changing of the guard, I hope it continues.
I'm pretty bored watching the same old guys playing over and over again every Sunday to be honest.

I didn't watch the full game, but I couldn't fight the thought that the 49ers have talent. Given the right coach their time in the dregs won't be long.
Goff looks like he's gonna be a star. Frankly i'm shocked. Thought he was a guaranteed bust.

Wasnt big on him in the draft but that is moot. OB is a great head coach but is terrible calling plays. After watching other games this past weekend it finally hit me exactly how bad the Texans offense is. They move so painstakingly slow its laughable. I have no faith O'Brien can install an offense that will take advantage of Watsons strength

Basically running a "Diamond Package" by putting your best pass rusher over the center and confusing the hell out of the QB while dropping 8 into coverage. Amazing its a concept run by Buddy Ryan in the 80's while DC of the Bears and still works this day

In fantasy land Payton as the HC is great with the caveat that the defense stays in place. If OB is fired Vrabel is gone along with him but you have secondary coach John Butler who can run the defense.
Paytons downfall is the he cant hire a DC worth a damn
Also Rick Smith just has to go away. You can not have a GM who outlasts two head coaches being fired. At some point you have to hit the reset button

Patriots are fairly strong at tackle. Very strong at right guard. Left guard and center are positions of relative weakness. It's where teams SHOULD attack.

Many teams try to flood the middle and get a rush with minimal people. Nothing new. Obviously most teams don't have the pass rushers to get it done. Teams like Denver can do it and still play man on the outside. Pats will have to attack the linebackers with RB in pass coverage.
Yeah only two teams that have that luxury are the Texans and Broncos. Any that I am missing?
