Good morning gaf. What a great day Almighty God has blessed us with today!

Fanto once again the boys did it and came through.

Ordered a Megatron on TFSource yesterday.

Have you used them before? They said they should ship soon but are pretty vague. I need someone to order the Soundwave you got for me around and I have decided that Megatron is the man for the job.

That said my home office is getting a little too filled with figures. Might have to start boxing up some of this shit and putting it in the attic...

They are super legit. They get all the exclusives. Ship it very safely and quickly. Just a heads up though. I don't want you to expect Big Ben and be upset when Tommy Maddox shows up. Soundwave, Grimlock and Optimus were the God Tier figures. In terms of quality, build and feel. The Magic Johnsons of the set. Megatron and Starscream are cool as well dont' get me wrong! But their James Worthy and Jerry West tier.

Ode to the Jets

As I walk this land with broken dreams
I have visions of many things
Love's happiness is just an illusion
Filled with sadness and confusion,

What becomes of the broken hearted
Who had love that's now departed?
I know I've got to find
Some kind of peace of mind
Maybe

The fruits of love grow all around
But for me they come a tumblin' down
Every day heartaches grow a little stronger
I can't stand this pain much longer
I walk in shadows

Searching for light
Cold and alone
No comfort in sight
Hoping and praying for someone to care
Always moving and goin' to where

What becomes of the broken hearted
Who had love that's now departed?
I know I've got to find
Some kind of peace of mind
Maybe

I'm searching though I don't succeed
But someone look, there's a growing need
Oh, he is lost, there's no place for beginning
All that's left is an unhappy ending

Now what's become of the broken-hearted
Who had love that's now departed?
I know I've got to find
Some kind of peace of mind
I'll be searching everywhere

Just to find someone to care
I'll be looking everyday
I know I'm gonna find a way
Nothings gonna stop me now
I'll find a way somehow
I'll be searching everywhere

From a sporting perspective, I think the over-reliance on the QB position is the biggest problem with American Football.

No Bradford means the Vikings are virtually fucked now.

Injuries killing teams left, right and centre.

If only they thought of this before trading a first round pick for a guy who isn't that good and is never healthy

Well, they only did they because they were even more fucked after another major QB injury.

I wish there wasn't such a exponential spread of ability at the QB position. You have back ups but they're rarely any good.

I think Bradford was a good move. Yeah, he gets injured a lot but he's a solid passer and has shown that over these last two and a bit seasons IMO. And him being traded allowed us to go all-in on Wentz too, which was good.

It sure is painful to be a Vikings fan. What makes it even more ironic is Bradford got smacked around non-stop last year behind a porous offensive line and got back up every freaking play. He gets sacked once in week one and suffers a non-contact injury...
Well at least Minnesota legalized Sunday liquor sales this summer...

The defense literally put up more than enough points directly to win that game. Yes, guys like wussle and dilfer get their ring, but didnt do anything to secure the win

Now now to be fair in the first super bowl wuss did a nice job handing the ball to a great player in Marshawn. If he had only done that in the 2nd SB and not let his ego get in the way they would have won that one as well.

if only the 49ers could have worked as well as Wilson, maybe they could have beat my Browns

Good job playing with the lights though

Sad that the Niners had an actual, non-Dilfer QB in Kaep AND a great defense and still couldn't win the Super Bowl. Football is a cruel game.

Maybe they could use a QB like Kaep and rely heavily on their run game and the D.

Maybe a QB like Kaep is available...

Megatron looks amazing in the pictures.

Shit looks like it is straight out of the cartoon.

I'm going to the Falcons/Lions game on Sunday in Detroit.

Should be a fun, competitive game.

I haven't been to Ford Field since they put in the new renovations. You'll have to give your impressions as an outsider.

Really looking forward to the game and seeing if this defense is as real as it has looked against QBs past their prime. Jarad Davis in concussion protocol is a concern, though.

Man really think the Eagles need to pick one of the RBs they have in Smallwood, Blount, and Clement and just go ahead with 12-15 carries. Stop with this rotation which doesn't allow any of the backs to get in a rhythm.

No, they won't have a great running game but maybe they can gain 60-75 yards per game.

Otherwise, they have no shot against the Giants this Sunday.

From Bill Simmons Mailbag:
Q: Being a JetsBeing a Jets fan this year is great because …

5. Rex Ryan has bombed as a TV guy.
6. Brandon Marshall is still infecting a New York team (it’s just the Giants).
7. Mark Sanchez officially isn’t coming back to haunt you.
8. You can scout USC/UCLA games and have “Darnold or Rosen?” arguments.
9. At least the Jets sucked on purpose this season.
10. At least the Jets don’t have New York’s worst sports owner.
11. At least the Jets don’t have New York’s worst NFL coach.
12. At least the Jets don’t have an expensive 36-year-old QB who’s 30-36 in his past 66 starts.
13. Eli Manning has more losses since 2013 than anyone other than Philip Rivers.
14. Eli has a lower QB rating since 2013 than Nick Foles, Jay Cutler, and Colin Kaepernick.
15. Eli was the recent subject of a FiveThirtyEight piece headlined “Eli Manning Is Profoundly Mediocre” that includes a graphic titled “Eli Manning is more Mark Sanchez than Peyton Manning” and unapologetically compares him to Vinny Testaverde.
16. For the 2017 season, Eli makes three times as much as Josh McCown.
17. Eli’s cap hit is $22.2 million next season.
18. You can make fun of any Giants fan about reasons 11 through 17. At least Jets fans have a sense of humor. Giants fans have no sense of humor about Eli—none, zero, zilch. It’s like teasing an uptight soccer mom about her kid getting benched.
19. The 50th anniversary of Super Bowl III is looming in a year.
20. As The Ringer’s editor-in-chief (and Jets fan) Sean Fennessey points out, “For the first time ever, I’m not emotionally invested in a single player on the team.” I ... think that's a good thing? fan this year is great because …

What kind of renovations did they do?

Bill Simmons is also a Pats fan.

and a mark as biiiiiitch. You should of seen us clowning him when Boston lost in the Finals in L.A. He was putting his laptop away and he was getting trolled and told to go cry in his suite. He was trying to hurry out of the Staples Center so fast as confetti fell on his face, that he dropped some highlighters and pens and stuff and just kept going. It was awesome.
