Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| With Or Without EU

With the RDR2 trailer in, I've been reminded that while I adored RDR and was more hyped and interested in that pre-release than probably any game ever, I never ended up playing Undead Nightmare. Any deals on that / the GOTY edition for PS3?

Edit: I see Argos here have the GOTY for €15 which seems very reasonable to me. Apologies for the post.

Anyone looking for a cheap SD card for Switch, I took a chance with this £40 200GB option from CEX and they sent through a Sandisk Ultra card that is selling for £70 on Amazon.

https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SMEMMSD200GB#.Wc04yL3TXqA

Can't guarantee what brand you'll get but there's very few 200GB options so chances are good you'll end up with the Sandisk card. It's worked flawlessly so far.
Seems a bit risky considering that bootleg SD cards are a thing.

Yeah, I'm always hesitant buying sd cards from un-trusted sources.

I'd wait for a sale if you're not in a hurry. Amazon to drop them for a bit every now and then. I own two 200gb micro sd cards, one I got for £40 and the other £50.

Well as expected... FIFA 18 Switch didnt arrive today. It’s a shame and thankfully I only paid £30 from Gameseek but probably won’t use them again. They even said it was dispatched on Wednesday. Never mind!

TugaGAF (and possibly Spain?): Worten has a Take 3 Pay 2 sale going on. Got Dirt Rally, Rise Of The Tomb Raider - 20 Year Celebration and Dragon Quest Builders for 60€.

They are but at least with CEX you can just return it to a high street store if it's no good. It's not the same as using some random eBay seller based in Hong Kong. Ran a few tests on my card and managed to transfer over 30GB to it with no problem and Switch games have no issues with load times. Mine's a legit card.

Prices for SD cards are super high at the moment, you'd be lucky to get a 128GB card for £40 if you're buying new.

The little I have read about fake SD cards is that their capacity is significantly lower than alleged so as long as it will hold its quoted capacity and transfers at a proper rate then I would have thought that there is nothing to worry about. Also, last time I bought anything from there they said it had a two year warranty so if that would apply here too then it sounds like a good deal to me! I will be in need of a high capactiy SD card soon so will bear CEX in mind when I get to that point so thanks for the heads up.

Was there no supermarket FIFA deals this year?

Loads on console bundles, but nothing on the game. Fifty quid in Sainsbury's is bloody laughable, no way I'm paying that for FIFA!

The Xbox One bundle with Forza Horizon 3, Forza 7 and FIFA 18 for £215 is tempting but I dunno if I'd ever even use it.

Im suprised there is no eshop somewhere in the world where fifa is cheaper, like russia or india or something, mind you im not that savvy to figure stuff out like that

55 quid on the UK eshop!! I've never in my life spent that much on a single game and don't plan to start now. Not picked up a FIFA game in years but liked the idea of having it loaded onto my Switch at all times for ad-hoc multiplayer, but not at that price.

don't suppose there are any deals on Nintendo UK eshop cards anywhere?

EDIT: actually never mind, turns out Nintendo now lets you split purchases between existing balance and card payment. Finally used that £3.61 which was hanging about in my account. Picross S for cheap!

It's £60 on PSN. I thought about getting a digital code through Amazon US but it would still work out to around £47-48. EA can fuck right off. I won't pay a penny over £40.

Hi Gaffers,
I don't know if is the right thread but i need some info:
I'm new to pc gaming and I have seen that cdkeys sells somes games I am interested in at a very good price.
Is cdkeys reliable?
Why the keys are so cheap compared the Steam store itself?
Steam could ban or suspend the account if I use third party keys?
Thanks everyone :)

CD keys are very reliable. I tend to get PS+ from them.

They are cheap because the buy physical copies from Eastern Europe usually, where games costs much less.
They send you a scan of the key and it will redeem as EU or WW.

No, steam won't suspend you for buying from 3rd parties.
You can get suspended if you activate keys via VPN.

CDkeys is kosher.

They aren't an official reseller thiugh, which is why they don't show up pn price comparison sites like isthereanydeal.com
Unlike G2A or Kinguin they aren't scammy and just make use of bulk buying and regional price disparity, so they should be considered fine to buy from

What are Base like for pre-orders? Ordered Dragons Dogma PS4 late last night and wonder if they will dispatch Monday for Tuesday release.

Ordered a game from Base a few weeks ago, wasn't a pre-order but it took 5 days to get to me.

Usually get my pre-orders a day before or on the day of release. They're pretty consistent.

I'm a new Pro owner and looking for games to get cheap

Do most PS4 games have a digital version? If so I might just wait for PSN sales unless there is something I'm desperate to play

Most games I've had a look at on Amazon are £10-£40, so as long as they're all on the store I might go mostly digital this gen

almost all can be bought digital. The catch being that physical copies - because retailers want them off shelves or out of the warehouse - tend to drop in price quicker.

Yes, most ps4 games have a digital version. Ratchet & Clank is a great showcase for the ps4 pro. It is also cheap.

I see flop written all over TEW2 after mediocre first game, plus its releasing in crowded period. And its bethesda game. It ll be 30 pounds and less by the end of year.
