I briefly glimpsed Gamespot's Nightmare playthrough and the stomp attack is overpowered as fuck
lol it also has iframes I'm pretty sure, this feels weird coming straight from an Akumu playthrough of TEW (which has basically no iframes).

If playing on PC, better with controller or KB+M is satisfactory?
You can use a DS4 controller too right? Because of Steam and XInput emulation?
Yeah. DS4Windows and all those tools have stopped working for me, but Steam games still work great with my DS4. Just start Steam and plug the controller in. Might have to do some big picture controller configuration the first time around though, not entirely sure.
Seriously no pro support for this?
You guys think I can just watch a complete walkthrough of the first game to catch up and play this or recommend that I play through the first one?
The regular enemies on nightmare are tough, but I can handle them without dying... But that crazy skinny bitch with the knife takes too much damage and kills me in two hits. My first three deaths are from her. There is definitely a problem with hit detection in this game. I'm disappointed because the first game had that problem too. I thought they'd fix it.
Been playing the third chapter for awhile now, just exploring various areas for items and such. Not sure how I feel about it so far, I really underestimated how different it was going to be in structure from the first game. I don't know if trading off Evil Within's tightly designed encounters for more open environments was worthwhile, but I need to give it more time and see how it grows on me. Not a fan of the Bioware-looking dialogue trees though.
Also Nightmare difficulty feels quite hard so far. But I finally just started pumping myself with upgrades, so maybe it will feel more manageable now. Stealth feels way, way more powerful this time around.
Has any reviews mentioned how amazing the sound in this game is. From noises amd weapons amd more. Holy crap. Super impressed overall so far with some minor performance issues aside.

Wow the shotgun in this sounds so badass
