Probably good for new players but I don't see much value in the weapons as a vet player and would rather keep the lapis for step-up banners.

I picked it up.
The sword was a nice upgrade for OK. The Rod went to CG Sakura. The Moogles were a nice infusion. And tickets I can hold on to for later? Yes please.
I initially picked it up with intention to enhance the sword. Then they took that down again, so... it's all good though. I don't have a ton of TMs yet here, just a small handful, so it's nice.

I got him to 60% and then nuked him with 3 2B (Avoid Attack) and Light Veritas (Saint Buster).

Thanks, stuff I'm reading on Reddit is to nuke him at 60% too. I guess I have to rethink my team a bit.

Finally pulled sephiroth after an absurd amount of pulls. Got a bunch of dupe 5* along the way.

Yep. Me too. Ill have 7* Tidus, Dark Veritas and Trance Terra in a few days...I wouldnt have done Dark Veritas if it wasnt for him playing nice with Sephiroth (pulled a second one of him this week too.) I'm happy out with the 7* thing. Dont see myself getting any super trust masteries though. Ive three Nyx and never used more than one so that might happen at some point...
Will eventually also be able to 7* Sephiroth, Nyx and Lila too...so full squad. CG fina should still be more thasn servicable at 6*, though and opportunity for a dupe there will result in as lapis dump.
I would guess the initial batch is bigger and then they'll just release like 7 new ones every month, spreading them out over 6 months+
Do you have ayaka/Rikku or friend units? Reraise seems key for me when I ran it. Other than that, typical atk debuff and def buff for your units. I got him down in 14 turns...so no 10 turn achievement for me.

This is what I'm afraid of. I don't have any of the early units, let alone dupes. I can get away with 6* supports for a certain amount of time but when content gets to the point of needing 7* damage I'm basically screwed.

That's what I've been doing all day. I wish we had the 20 NRG maze in Global. It's sooooo good.

Thanks, lol. I got super lucky and only used 5 or so tickets for him. I really need that darn Ring of the Lucii. That think is so useful, it's actually a little ridiculous.
Thanks for posting this, it made me try to get a Noctis and I got CG FIna in three tickets. Lmao
It's normally 40 NRG mind you. Half off and all that. It is brilliant though.

I kind of was doing it to death and couldn't hack much more of it. Will go back though if it's still around afye maintanence. Maxed LB for CG Fina, Sephiroth, Dark Veritas, Onion Knight, Rikku and a few others. Doing Earth Veritas now, Tim and Silt next maybe. Don't know where to put them after that...maybe any unit that will be going 7*, even if it's lb is muck...
So the step-up goes the Sephiroth-route. Dammit I hope I get either Squall/Rinoa with tix or the first 3 steps coz I ain't gonna have enough to afford even a full round!
Edit: I just noticed that unlike the Sephiroth step-up, this one lacks the 1.5x/2x/3x rainbow rate which was present at the Sephiroth step-up's 1st/4th/5th step. This is without a doubt a shittier deal... being the first batch of 7*-able units you'd think they would give you better rates...

Damn you're right. Pretty stingy from Alim, especially considering we need dupes now. I'll do the first step as a moogle for a player in my position is worth it. Hoping I get a good number of Lamira's tbh. That TM would be great on Fina and Nichol.

Congrats man, iNichol is a real solid unit.
I pulled handful of times trying to get D-Rain, and eventually got him without too much fuss. Got him almost fully enhanced, skill-wise, and it's pretty nuts the damage he can do on counters. The problem I'm having with him on Nightmare is that he dies instantly if I have iNichol do the redirect. I could give him a lot more evasion gear (right now he has 30% evade), but then his damage would take a big hit. Has anyone used the Rain counter strategy to beat Nightmare, and if so, how did you build him so that he doesn't die?
Also, saw Val logged in and updated his character to D-Rain too, which is exciting.

That Step-Up is garbage. It better not be 25000 Lapis in total but knowing them it will be. At least, the Special Login Bonus is really good.
