Good lord. DNF is so unfathombly bad, I may as well load up Postal to wash this from my brain.

I'm actually finding it to be occasionally enjoyable. The hodgepodge of classic game design, modern idiosyncrasies ("Tap spc repeatedly for awesome!"), and a sloppily-updated UE2.5 aesthetic is strangely endearing.

So is anyone interested in trading for a gift copy of The Longest Journey/Dreamfall Pack, The Orange Box, or Serious Sam HD 1? I'll consider almost anything I don't own--within reason! Please refrain from offering $1 games, or games with a 39 Metacritic...--including monetary offers, ie "I'll gift a game worth X dollars for it".

Interested in Audisurf full game and coupons for Nuclear Dawn, Recettear and a couple more I don't remember now?

Nice to see the sort function on the game list. That means that they are actually doing some work with the profile pages. Now they just need to add the function to hide game time without one needing to set the whole profile to private.

163 games and 23 have over 10 hours.

But that's giving me 0 hours for Portal. And I have a couple games with over 9 hours. So the number is actually higher than I expected.

143 games and 22 over 10 hours with 5 over 50.

Dabbled in just about everything. Although I need to get around to are Bully, Kings Bounty series and Tropico.

Also need to finish Vampire: Bloodlines. Stopped just after the dude tells me to go to the sewer in Hollywood. I heard that area sucks ass.

What figure are you guys using for number of games? You're profile will say X amount of games, but when you go to Library and select All Games you'll get Y amount.

For me, my profile says 183, but my library says 154. I take it that the profile lists full games, DLC and any F2P games you've played, while the library lists full games and F2P games installed only.

Am I correct?

Pretty much. The Community game count also includes miscellaneous items such as soundtracks.

You wernt joking! that music is awesome.
Here are some more tracks if you're interested: http://soundcloud.com/lifeformed/tracks
Thanks. Do you know if those are going to be ingame, or just a track used for the trailer? I really liked the Guacamelee trailer music, for instance, but I think that music turned out to be generic stock music they got from some site.

At any rate, the Dustforce music reminded me of the Mirror's Edge soundtrack for some reason.

If only you could some how make it not feel like controller settings while using a keyboard and mouse. The slow, chunky movements are brutal.

Why would you want to hide game time?

496 games and 7 with over ten :/

There are a lot right under ten that I've beat and are never going to be touched again. And a few that are over ten before steam started counting (all the orange box games)... Must keep justifying!

427 games. 28 with over 10 hours play time. Top 3 games are TF2 (498 hours), Dota 2 (292 hours) and Skyrim (67.7 hours)

Just played the Dustforce demo and WOW!!!

Basically it's a Super Meat Boy gameplay with VVVVVV Checpoint system with a vector/cavestory visual design.

it supports 360 pad & from the looks of it you can edit the sprite work / png files the game also has a level editor which is extremely easy to use. the demo music is done by robot science :D one of my favourite bandcamp bands.

some screenshots from the demo (click for full size):

you guys really need to pick this game up.

Why would you want to hide game time?

Why would I want to show it?

But as answer to your question, I feel that it´s a privacy intrusion. It gives me a feeling of being watched that I´m not comfortable with it, and I want to hide that part of my profile without the blotter being disabled and me not being show in other peoples friend lists.

I look at your play time when I masturbate at night.

Admit it. You're embarrassed you play MW3 so much, brah.

But seriously, paranoid much?

I'm watching you play. Right now.

I know I like seeing the playtime of friends because if I'm about to buy a game, I see who has played it the most (or at least a sizeable amount of time) and ask them their opinion of it. Can be helpful!

I have more hours clocked into staring at your game list and time played listed than anything else on Steam.

No clue. The soundtrack will be released sometime in a week or two on bandcamp. His latest blog post says he's thinking of doing a pay what you want thing.

I have 77 Steam games, and have used the service for less than a month.

For every sale, there is going to be lots of people like yourself. It's a massive draw for the service.

It's basically like finally seeing your favourite band live. Sure they'll have the latest hits on sale, but the classics will get switched up and repeated because it's going to be someones first time with the sale.

I don't want to think how many games I'd have if I actually had a gaming rig...

What's even worse is that if you launch a game, it shows up on our friends list that you're playing that game, unless you're offline. At this point, all of us scary GAF stalkers immediately message someone (Remy, in this case) and make fun of him for playing a game (Simplz Zoo, in this case), until Remy rages that it's a legitimate game (in this case), and Valve finally becomes so embarrassed that a grown man is playing such a game that they delete it from their store entirely (which happened, in this case).

Don't you guys dare look at my shit while I'm playing Secret of the Magic Crystals. It's for my daughter.
Already got Dead Space 2, should I get the first one too?
I'd say yes, but I haven't finished it (own it on 360). Most people I know that have played it loved the game, so it's a safe bet at that price.

Dead Space is only 2.50€ ($3.20) in Germany. Already played on PS3, but that's too good of a deal.

Dead Space 2 isn't available at all though.
