Also, no... My Relius is nowhere close to being decent. I only know one combo and like... 1 setup. My blockstrings aren't that good either... Still trying to figure out what can follow up after a hit. Either way, I think the main problem is that you're not finishing your chain drives. It just abruptly stops or do a combo that doesn't connect. Also, you may want to try out Bloom Trigger (236D) or Assault Through (214D) while you're doing chain drives as a finisher. Assault Through is more of a left/right mixup kinda thing but don't do it all the time. You got some hits in but you're not taking advantage of them.

For some reason in the middle of a Drive combo, going from d.5C > d.6C whiffs quite a bit. I was in the training room but I don't know exactly what I'm doing wrong. Sometimes her gun spinning thingy lands, but many times it doesn't.

I think they get away with it because not everybody that pre-orders actually picks up the games. This is how it's justified. If you pay in full before release they ought to just stick the damned thing behind the counter with your name on it.

Unfortunately I'm going out on a limb and guessing they ordered a handful of copies of the standard edition and one, maybe two of the LE's and well - GOTTA GUT IT! >:|

Is Makoto a fun character to play(for a beginner)? I see that she's on the bottom of the tier lists but I just want to play for fun.

I think she is tough execution wise. She seems fun, but just didn't click with me

I can't either so I feel you. I had to drop Dante because of it.

Execution is definitely not my strong suit either.

So, with each new iteration of BB, do the challenge modes stay the same, or do they change with new versions? Because I've used those for picking up basic combos with new characters. I don't wanna waste my time if none of those combos in challenge work during game rounds.

They changed and improved it bigtime in this.

I just wish I could figure out how to superjump after a launcher effectively in this right now.

I'm pretty stoked about tonight. I never did get a response on the time though. I'm on the east coast. I'm sure that will cause some sort of problem, lol.

You know what the worst feeling is? Knowing that you're playing against a horrible player but because you have no idea how to counter them since you're learning a new character, you end up losing. True story. Happened 90% of my matches yesterday.

No. The worst feeling is losing to a Tager using beginner mode, AKA the highlight of my CSII career.

the LE was a let down, its really cheap compared to the SCV LE. and the OST coming on a sleeve was, well i kinda fell cheated or something :/ well just one week to learn platinum finally.

Coming from the FF13-2 Collector's as well, felt that it didn't come packaged well enough. The box can be dented easily since it's almost empty inside. Either way, can't complain since I got the LE for the same price as standard.

I bought SCV on release day and have since only accumulated about 10 minutes of playtime. Didn't really click with me. Hopefully I have more luck with BBCSE. :(
