3rd Party Amazon.com Seller (Circuit City) selling 32GB Vita card for 39.99

I haven't really dealt with this yet. I've still got the pending charge on my account, and my order on Amazon was canceled by TigerDirect. I haven't actually received anything from TigerDirect, either, so I'm going to give it a couple of days before I contact someone to see about getting that charge removed.

I refused delivery 2 days ago and I'm getting a refund, but nothing else.

Well I definitely learned my lesson. Never buying anything Buy.com or TigerDirect ever again.

I've gotten a cancellation e-mail from both Amazon and TigerDirect. I assumed that nothing will be actually shipped out to me, so hopefully this stupid $44 charge will reverse itself by itself in a day or two.

Can't believe they're actually sending out incorrect products. LOL

I've gotten an email from Tiger Direct about the order being wrong, and another one in response to the email I sent to cancel if it wasn't going to be the memory card. Both told me my order would be canceled, but it still says processing.

Haven't gotten an email from Paypal telling me I was credited back either. I'll give it a few days and see what happens, if nothing comes up I'll probably contact Tiger Direct and buy.com.

Checked my bank account this morning, and the pending charge has disappeared. So this saga is now ended for me. Didn't pursue any credit or anything, but I don't really care.

My pending charge disappeared a few days ago but today it showed up as an actual charge. I have received multiple replies from buy.com and tigerdirect and they all say to wait for a return shipping label and ship back the game before I can get my refund.

The tiger return label is actually sent to you via email (just got it now) and you have to just print it out and drop off the item at your local ups store... thankfully I have one right around the corner. This shit goes back tomorrow.

So check your email, return label is not being shipped snail mail.

Also their returns department is in Cali not NJ where they shipped the game out from.

I also got emails from buy.com about the refund today. Interested in seeing how this plays out.

They never shipped mine either, just got my refund about an hour ago. Then 30 minutes later I got the email from Tiger Direct through the buy.com marketplace customer support email.

Tiger Direct link to create the new order is legit, shows that it's for their site.

I ordered from Amazon. Come to think of it, I think they might not even have an e-mail since we did all correspondence through Amazon's site. :\
So sad right now. :(
 
Yeah I ordered via Buy.com. They never sent me a return label for Wipeout though, so I was in the middle of going through Buy's customer service to get it sorted out when that email came in.

My buy.com order did go through and same thing happening to me, Tiger direct isn't sending me a return label. It will be interesting to see if this is true that they are sending out memory cards now.

Funny part is today I called my bank to dispute the charge because I was tired of tiger direct bullshit.

I got that email just now from tiger direct. Clicked on the link, will wait to see what they say in their next email. Pretty damn sweet if this ends up working out.

My history with all this....

ordered on buy.com using paypal, got screwed, emailed three times with tiger through buy.com, finally got email with return shipping label, sent it off and told them via email, got refunded two days later and now that email from tiger.
 
I got the email as well. Looks completely legit. I ordered via Circuit City on Amazon. They have my billing and shipping address listed in the email, the header looks legit. The only place I discussed this deal was here on NeoGAF and I use a different email for my registration here than I did for ordering originally.

Wish I could see the looks on the faces of those who posted in this thread, giving us grief because we were taking a risk.

Same story for me. Clicked the link, we'll see if this does pan out. I've been content with the 8GB card that came with my 3G Vita, but $45 for a 32GB card can't be passed up.

Haha no....I think they are working together to fix this issue..the order process all might be linked.

I clicked on the 'replace my order' link in that email, and it just takes me to the site and says 'update request received'....but I haven't gotten any word about it in a few days.

I got an amazon refund email without shipping, so emailed Tiger Direct and got this response:

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please be advised that we already requested for the shipping and handling fee be refunded back to your original payment method. Once processed, that will be posted back after 3-5 business days. We thank you for your time and patience.


Make sure they fully refund you or dispute the charge. Also asked about honoring the deal since I never got an email, said they would let me know when it's in stock.

Man, really? I asked about the deal and I've been getting the runaround. Yesterday they said they'd elevate my question to a manager and I've heard nothing since.

I finally got a response from a manager from TigerDirect, I guess. They gave me an order number and a phone number to call to set up the order, so I'll be doing that this afternoon.

Well, I did place an order with both stores. Once with Circuit City through Amazon and then again with TigerDirect through Buy. I hope it works out hassle-free, thanks.

Called them and set up the order, and they say it'll be on its way shortly and I should have it by next week. Really hope this all works out and there's not another headache down the road here.
 
I received a call from tiger direct to place my order for the cards. I made 2 separate orders for one each and I told him that but he said I couldn't 'order' two since the order is for only one. He ended up calling me again a minute later for my second order and was mad confused.

I asked if they could combine the shipment into one but was told that it was impossible.

They still aren't dealing with things well.
