Things happen; you gotta do what you gotta do. So the host might not be appearing then. I suppose Mahonay could take over as host or Jason once again. In the mean time, keep updating the OP with head counts and any other updates.

In other news, I contacted -PXG-. He "might show up for a bit" (his words). I told him that the thread is up and told him where it's gonna be at. I told him that the thread is up but he hasn't posted yet. Expect him to pop in soon if not a few days before the meet up.

Awesome. PXG had a great time at the February meetup, I'm excited to see what he does this time.

I will still update the OP, my EMT fate has not been fully decided yet. I shot a text to my neighbor to see if he could take that night, he hasn't responded, but I have a pretty good feeling he'll take it.

Damn sorry to hear that Mully. Obviously that takes priority over this meet-up though. Hopefully we will get to hang in the near future some other time.

I suppose I could try and take over hosting? Might be a little weird considering I've only been on GAF since November. I do know the city though and I have helped organize other meet-ups before. I would not mind though if you guys need the help.

Neighbor texted me back. He's able to take my on-call shift. I just have to work a 24 hour on Tuesday, April 3rd which again isn't that big of a deal since it's all on-call.

I'll still be able to host, and the OP's been updated.

Finally got my goddamn pass for Nero.

Anyway, I might stop by to see what's going on before and after the show (depending on where ya'll are at).

Last meet-up was amazing. We need to top it. Too bad our fearless leader won't be there :(

By the way, some one posted a group picture with you from the Scribblenauts meet up in Dacvak's Leukemia thread.

Since the meet up is in Brooklyn, I'll trust you street smart guys give us non Brooklynites a small tour of the area.

Most gaffers energy at the meet ups are crazy. They are a great group of people.

Hahahaha. I remember I made you and Eric walk to 34th street after you wanted to take a cab. It's a shame I showed up like half an hour later after that, so I wasn't in that group pic. That place was crawling with Gaffers! I remember asking a guy who later turn out to be greglombardi if he was a Gaffer by gut feeling. He was such a nice guy.

Like I said, he's gonna be meet up with several Gaffers around 5 (well he said he's gonna go out as early as 3pm) . He's gonna go pick up jamieson at his hotel with Mahonay in Midtown around 4, stop by a Scottish bar for free drinks on jamieson, then go to Brooklyn to eat lunch and do some pre-gaming at the park with the other early bird Gaffers e.g. domncnboy, Mully, smokeymicpot and a few others. Then he's gonna go off on his merry way to his thing around 8 or so, so he won't be joining us at the beer garden/bar crawl. I have pretty good memory. ^_^

So lawblob shall be joining us; that's good. We missed you at the last meet up. And where the heck is El_Sloth? We need some more Hispanic GAF presence. It still sucks that EviLore won't be joining us, so we'll make sure to have a toast to him. Some one definitely needs to bring a point and shoot camera this time for high quality pictures. I might bring my crappy DSLR in a book bag to chronicle the antics this time.

Don't think they have a basketball court. Definitely a baseball field though. I'm just going to be drinking and enjoying the view so it matters little to me.

If so that's crazy; I can already picture a seeing a bunch of you soiled with dirt and sand. I suppose it would be amusing for a passerby to see a bunch of guys playing baseball in suits and ties; it would start a new trend. Otherwise, if you guys plan on playing sports, do not wear a suit to the meet up; it's common sense.

Nah I am not suiting up that night. I have a surprise party thing the night before and I need to wear a suit for. Gonna be looking like awesome and playing baseball like a boss.
