New Alphabeat single "Vacation" is so silly and superfluous that it probably started out as a cruise line jingle, but at least a new Alphabeat song means a new Alphabeat album is looming on the horizon!

Monster's can't come for Britney's sales love. Gagita's entire discography still can't outsell BOMT. The blessed remains untouchedt

We live in the age of iTunes and singles, lets not used expired receipts that are no longer suited for to this generation like some Madonna stan

This is why stans of newbies cant come for the living legends because no matter what you do or say your fave hasn't become as established or as iconic as them. Since we are speaking itunes and singles why was BTW the only #1 album Gaga had? and BTW the single was the only #1 hit Gaga hit this era... but the rest.... dont remember them ever charting, while Britney had how many number one and top ten hit singles with Femme Fatale again? with no promo?....hmmm oh and she never gave away her album for free at Best Buy and Starbucks and never had to sell Femme Fatale for $0.99 at Amazon, a disgrace.

Born This Way still sold way more even if you erase those promotional sales

She had 3 hits but even then Marry The Night(Gaga's biggest flop) charted better than Criminal

I'm sure Madonna is busy reading her tweets and celebrating her 5th consecutive #1 album in the US.

Without a 99 cent price tag in sight.

Just enforcing some EQUILIBRIUM in the face of so many pressed haters who are beyond displeased with the return of the queen, for a variety of invalid reasons.

I wanted it to be great. I've seen her live 6 times and worship her.

It's just not. It's forced, and limp. I do love Love Spent, but overall this release is beyond disappointing. :(

This has nothing to do with being a hater in my case, but so much of a Madge lover not to want to see her this low.

Unless your fave is one of those handful of singers who is either as successful (Madonna, Celine, Whitney in radio or album sales or both) or as talented (Whitney, uh... Whitney)!

What's your favorite Mariah album? I've only heard Daydream, Butterfly, and Emancipation. #oop

I personally like songs from (almost?) all of her albums but... I would probably say Butterfly or Emotions.

... Maybe. It's more about what particular song I'm interested in hearing at any given moment than a particular album.

I loved The Emancipation of Mimi/The Adventures of Mimi Tour. That whole era was so LOOPY.

Mariah's always loopy. Always.

My take on the bands:

1D: Good guys who'd take you to several romantic dates, give you flowers and chocolates and send you cute text every chance they get.

The Wanted: The ones you'll end up fucking anyway.

And that's probably the basis of their marketing segmentation as well.

That's pretty much how they are divided.

Is Monae welcome in this thread? Just booked some cheap (for Aus :p ) tickets to see her at Sydney Opera House with orchestra. Should be cool.

I've been praying for them since 05. They're still hating and the reign still hasn't let up. I wonder how it feels to be consistently pressed.

I wonder how it must feel for them when Birthday Cake, an interlude that's not even planned to be single, has gotten more airplay and is about to chart better than Marry The Night ever could

Take Care currently sits at #7... no promo... no video.

And it seems you cant get it through your head that while her other singles from TTT have tanked, it all happened WHILE "We Found Love" was slaying, becoming the biggest hit of her career as well as pop hit of the decade.

Music's Top 40 Money Makers 2012

1
Taylor Swift
$35,719,902

4
Lady Gaga
$25,353,039
-Look at that even in her flop era she still managed to take the crown from the lessers
acts
.
.
.
10
Adele
$13,081,909

But wait where is this so called "Queen of Pop" that released the biggest hit of the decade surely she must have made some money, maybe she is in the top 20 - 10, lets find out

14
Katy Perry
$11,969,426
-oh not Katy Perry being ahead

16
Britney Spears
$10,090,973

.
.
.
.

20
Michael Bublé
$9,027,177

Oh my not in the top 20? what kind of Queen is this

22
Rihanna
$7,660,833
- ah there she is, how emberrasing

No one is here for Rihanna sis, only reason why We Found Love charted was due to Calvin Harris' beat, Rihanna having a 30 second line repeated over and over was not the cause. And as we seen from the rest of TTT singles no one cares about her. No album sales no single sales no tour sales, she is barely hanging on the poor thing

and that has been Talk That Flop, good night
