You can price a game whatever you'd like on ebay and the listing fees are so tiny compared to the gain you could potentially get if someone falls for it, so there's no reason not to go for it. Prices on ebay aren't a good representation of reality.

The guy at Gamestop explained to me how the artbook thing works - Anyone who ordered before March 26th is supposed to get one of the books. There were 4 pre orders in that store, 2 artbooks, and the two employees working were the pre orders after March 27th. They could have just snagged the books, but they didn't.

My two friends were the only two pre orders in the next town down. One was before 3/26 and one was after. The one after went to get the game first, and they wouldn't give him the only book they had...because it was my other friend's. Haha. He's annoyed.

Got my game. Got my book. Now I have to go out of town for the weekend. :(

I picked up my copy this morning, but the artbooks were running late and were not in at the time I picked up the game. However, Gamestop called since then and has let me know the artbooks have come in and they set mine aside. I will pick it up the next time I am in the area.

Yeah the artbook is disappointing. I thought it was larger and had many sketches and concept art. It's just CG art kind of like the Metroid Prime Trilogy insert.

But it's no big deal. The game is great.

I hope it is that way. I preordered my copy on March 5th but can't pick it up until later tonight so hopefully I don't run into any problems getting the artbook.

This thing is already valuable? I reserved it at GS yesterday afternoon on a whim and picked it up today with the art book. Haven't opened it yet.

Still waiting on Nintendo to charge my card and ship mine. I'm still pissed they couldn't update my CC info from when I pre-ordered day one. Mine probably won't be shipping today it seems. Should have pre-ordered from GS even if I didn't get the art book I'd know I had the game.

Well this is great. I pre-ordered on Nintendo.com way back when, but I had to get a new credit card due to the recent security issues at MasterCard. So far I haven't received any e-mail from Nintendo about my order, and when I go to their website to check my order status.. it just takes me to some customer support page? How the hell do I check my order status?

If your old card was canceled you may be screwed. My CC I pre-ordered with expired a few days ago. I called them a couple of days ago to just update my CC info, with my not expired card, and they couldn't do it. They said all I could do was either cancel my order, or mail them a check. So fucking stupid. So I had to cancel and re-order, as I said earlier still waiting for my card to be billed and the game to ship.

They should have sent you a confirmation e-mail at some point with your order number in the subject.

If you need your order number, it appears in the subject (and only the subject) of the order confirmation e-mail they send you after you place an order. Here's what the subject looks like (so you can search your e-mail for it):

Confirmation for Order #xxxxxxx/Member #xxxxxxxx

(I replaced the actual numbers with "x", obviously.)

Crap, I guess I deleted that e-mail. I probably was just doing some housekeeping and didn't think of it. Oh well, I'll eventually get a "could not process order" message.

All this, despite the fact that I pre-ordered on the 30th!
The Gamestop around here is actually pretty cool.

Should have preordered from Gamestop or Nintendo. Very rarely do I bother preordering or prepurchasing stuff but this is a very limited release, extremely hard to avoid in this case.

And I have a tracking number from Nintendo! *dance*

My order from Nintendo just shipped. Won't be getting it until the end of the month since I have to forward it to Chile, but cool to know nonetheless.

Picked up my copy from gamestop. Interestingly, while there they were heavily pushing The Last Story for pre-order. They seem to be (wisely) betting on a high audience cross-over for these two titles.

I got an e-mail today saying mine shipped, but I can't view it through UPS tracking yet. I pre-ordered it through Nintendo back in like December.

30th of what month? Gamestop only guranteed an artbook up to 3/27 reserves

Goto gamestop.com and do a hold online pick up in store, they will hold your game for 48 hours, easy stuff =)

Yeah same here, but as I said earlier since my CC expired a few days ago, and my card now has a new expiration date, which Nintendo couldn't just update in their system. They made me cancel my order and re-order it. Which was just a few days ago.... Still haven't gotten a shipment email yet.

My order went from pending earlier today to preparing to ship now. Would hope it would ship today, but if not I guess it will go out Monday. Not bad considering I preordered last weekend.

Never got the call from Gamestop and so I called them. One more art book left and she was hesitant to let me have it despite my December 5 pre-order. Why do I do business with this organization?

Picked up my copy this morning. Had to be in the area earlier so was there when it opened. Going to try and keep it in the wrapper until I finish Skyward Sword since I've started playing that again. Put 40 hours into that so far and I think I have to be near the end in some fashion. I did get the art book though. Nice enough. The quality of the paper is more then I expected though.
