That'd be nice if they stayed true to the bill of goods they've sold us, but I can honestly see them offering co-op as DLC and then couching it as "the fans asked for it!"

When have they done this? Why are we expecting the worst from Capcom just because they have shitty DLC practices in their fighting games?
Well, all I can tell you is that they designed the game around the Pawn sharing system within a single player experience. It was not designed for co-op, so they can't just throw it in. They have said countless times that co-op would not work within the context of what they are trying to do and goes against the idea they had. Which is a single player game that is personal, yet offers a unique interactive experience with other players at the same time. It is what it is, and co-op is not coming to the game anymore than it is coming to Skyrim.

I just did the prologue mission again. The first thing I did was throw that dude in my party off the cliff. Then I didn't get any of the pawns.
Haha, gonna try that too.
Whats with the side bars though?
so there seems to be timing combos? Seems like only two combos based just off strider and warrior(?) class. Wonder if you unlock more the more you level up. Would be pretty awesome.
Demo is up on US PSN if you search for it.

Huh.
That was actually pretty fun. duckroll made it sound like it was the worst game ever. I think I'm gonna get it. Though I also think I'm not going to play with a full group of pawns if I can help it.
First thing to do: Turn off pawn subtitles, and cinematic camera.
I'll probably get this used somewhere down the line since I refuse to support Capcom anymore.
I think having a full team of pawns is going to be much more satisfying and useful when you have to trek around the world for hours doing quests with little chance to heal and that kinda thing.
Right now this just seems to be a demo of the prologue and another easy quest so... yeah, wouldn't expect it to be hard.
This DL is all over the place. I walk away, come back almost thirty minutes later and it's gone up 2%. Then I check again five minutes later, 10%. Just now, 2% in twenty minutes. WTF?
It's not the difficulty I'm concerned about, it's the chaoticness of battle and all of the people talking. I don't find that enjoyable. I just did the prologue quest with the one guy you start with and enjoyed it a lot more.
And your party/enemy health bars =)
Oh, and your map

Question!
Does this game have permadeath? How is health handled and how easy is it to heal from things?
Chosen Undead Tier:
No Pawns
Fellowship Tier:
Max Pawns
Battle Brothers, Fantastic Adventures tier:
One Pawn

No idea about permadeath, but in the demo you can use herbs to heal yourself from inside the menu. The game pauses while you're in the menu, and the healing effect from herbs is instantaneous. I'm not sure how I feel about that, honestly. I kind of think there should be some kind of animation involved, like in the Souls games, to prevent abuse.
The items may be expensive, it's not really something we can see from the demo.
In combat you seem to have a max HP that keeps dropping as you take damage, indicated by the silverish bar. When you get healed by magic it will only go up to that, which, again, meant little in the demo context but when it comes to actually leaving the town and doing a long quest, the health deterioration should impact it a lot.
This whole 'can't support capcom anymore because of DLC fiasco's' makes me cringe. I mean, really? Because they offer exclusive outfits for streetfighter players, that don't add anything to the gameplay, at all, and gives players a more 'exclusive' feel when playing online, you refuse to buy good games that might, in the future, add extra stuff for fans, that don't add anything to the gameplay, at all?
