The American cartoon industry shot itself in the foot (Novid is an expert).
My Little Pony's popularity is proof that the industry is dead (despite it's alleged signs of life), because tens/hundreds of thousands of bronies simply could not have spawned from one small article picked up by 4chan unless they were starved for real cartoons like Thundercats.
I got, regular show, and adventure time, and theres some other good shows, some other good anime.
i dont know if american males were that desperate for animation, you make it sound like we have all latched onto this cuz we were literally dying with out good cartoons.
like if this came out in the 90s no one would give a shit.

And the toy has already been released at retail, just this comes with a fancy box. And it's been released at retail as a TRU exclusive again later on this year. And it's a minor retool with a bit of purple paint to make a zombie version of a character who, again, has had two toys in two years and is getting a more G1 retooled third.
There's just nothing very exclusive about the Transformers ones that will drive ebay prices.
