Another update:
- Dr Stephen Wolf, from Denver Health, one of the hospitals receiving the wounded, says they have received eight patients with gunshot injuries, mostly to the trunk and the extremities.
It's a wonder the average Stern caller is capable of drawing breath, more or less capable of actual reflection.

This is absolutely terrible and ruined a great night for me. I cant understand why someone would ever do something this terrible.
There's no way that will be learned until the police briefing in 5 hours.
Additional from Dr Wolf:
- He tells the BBC World Service they had activated their mass casualty incident plan and had five teams of physicians ready when the injured arrived.
- So far, he says, they have not seen anyone with inhalation injuries.
Way too early to tell, just have to assume that person has gone crazy to do something this severe...

Likely won't be discovered for a time yet and is even more likely not to give you closure. It's likely some arbitrary reason that only a psychopath could understand.

Confirmed reports saying the gunman was a 24 year old white male. He had explosives in his car.
There's been a large amount of people panicking and spreading rumor in this thread alone. The Iranian flag, the phantom second shooter, the 15th death from Howard Stern, etc.
All we can do is wait now, there likely won't be any dramatic news until the police briefing unless you want updates from the hospitals. Even the news station is saying there likely won't be any more updates (outside of deaths) until 11.
There's at least one person in critical at the moment.

It'll be interesting to hear his crazy "reason" for doing this. I, like many others here have no clue why anyone would want to harm innocent people like this. Especially pregnant women and children.

The gunman was apprehended at his car and did not resist police at all. Seems weird as hell that he gave up peacefully and considering he was equipped to make a final stand.

This is what I'm going to be fucking paranoid about now. I fear that some fucker teetering on the edge is going to see this and think it's a good idea. I pray that nothing like that happens, but that was my first thought in all this.
