Just finished listening to this. Beats/mixing/rapping are better than the first one. He gets a pretty good Chief Keef feature. Still not a great mixtape, but itll get you hype for what it is.

My fav song:

Hype as hell, this is legitimately a good song. THIS THAT DOPE FLOWWW

Another good one

Needs more screaming on the MIC, and not enough "Trap-A-Holics" or "Damn son, where did you find this"

Yo these beats on the StressWon are great, can't believe it has so few views and downloads!

Edit: Yeah 86 Mets is a track of the year contender for me. T. Shirt is gonna do something great soon.

Or maybe it's a sign of what Ghostface said that people in the south are willing to show love and in NY it's either a song with your own crew or nothing. So many legendary collabos could have happened in NY and still can but people keep looking after their own rather than working together.

Just put the finishing touches on this... Feedback would be awesome

Sampled a song from Rihanna's new album to make the beat, and threw a Wiz acapella over it. Been on a semi-wavy tip lately, trying to get inspiration from Mr. Harry Fraud

Thoughts?

Slightly hard to hear Wiz's vocals, so maybe make them a bit louder without distortion. Other than that, its a jam. I'd def throw that on a mix.

pretty much. we look forward to that shit down here. it's all about building. lets ALL get this money.
east coast rap really missed a trick on that front.
imagine Nas, Jay and Ghostface all on the same song. sick shit.

sigh Wu Block...

Why can't these dudes get some good production? There are plenty of dudes who are making super dope grimy shit right now, like Harry Fraud, Alchemist, Tommy Mas, etc. Hell I'd love to hear them over Roc Marciano's production.

cause pretty much everything Wu does (solo or group) these days is a quick cash in. not to make good music.

after Wu-Massacre i wont be burned again.

good beats cost too much.

I guess you're right. They get the money up front from the label, then buy a bunch of cheap beats and stash the cash; hell they don't even do videos. Ghost basically admitted it in that HipHopDX interview about his last album (which I thought was underrated...).

They can make money easily through tours, and it's not like anyone wants to hear their new shit at a concert. I've heard Ghost do stuff from Fishscale, and Rae do stuff from CL2 but that's about it.

I really want to hear an a grade rapper over harry, I have my doubts about it working. I just think he outshines the people he works with.

who/what do you consider a-grade?

rappers dont make beats better or worse. you cant flip that relationship.
otherwise Nas would be GOAT.

John I know you've been around for a while, but can you do the Gaf-Hop Initiation?

I'm pretty green to hip hop any tupac like artists y'all could recommend? Just a big fan of pacs lyrics and most of the beats.

Listened to m.a.a.d city and wasn't too impressed. I'll have to give it another listen sometime. No song really "wowed" me as much as swimming pools and the recipe, and the art of peer pressure. Some of the lyrics were more compelling and interesting than most mainstream hip hop is.

Playa haters making fun of Jza and TM101 in one page. We need to get to the next page before the hiphop gods punish us with limp swords 2
