That grass starter is one of the coolest looking starters I've seen in a while. This will probably the first time I will start with a grass starter.

I agree and same for me, I always choosed the fire starter, but I'm liking this grass starter a lot. And if he evolve into a hedgehog with tons of spikes I'm gonna be HAPPY.

Yeah no. There is definetely room for improvement and they really should improve the overworld, just look at the Route 3-pic ugh, but RH and DQ9 have nothing on this.

But I really hope they take DQ9 costume/clothing system. Customizable main character would be awesome already but imagine if they finally go further with those props in the Musical/Picture Gallery (or whatever it was called) and made that stick in battle.

I'm also starting to believe the game will look much more polished on the 3DS screen. A lot of times developers for portable games will add anti-aliasing for a game trailer meant for viewing on a larger screen, but gamefreak didn't waste their time that.

There are cameos/callbacks occasionally (and R/B > G/S and B/W > B2/W2 are direct continuations) but she'll be fine.
