Those games don't look nearly as good as this.
Pokémon 2, aka Gold and Silver went from almost exactly looking like Gen one to looking quite a bit better.

Does the 3 sign on the right mean they reset the Routes' numbers again? I guess they will start from 1 for every new continent they introduce.
So? Pokemon names are wrong all the time. Look at pidgey; looks nothing like a pigeon.

It's a pretty big deal when a series can sell over 55 million copies on a single system.

the 1st 3 gen is set in japan . The 3th is in usa.Make sense.

People are mostly complaining about the overworld and the overworld graphics do look weak. The textures actually look straight out of DQIX or something (although that game had to use 2d sprites for the npcs and some of the busier scenes do look better than anything there). The battles are good though.

Good catch. It makes sense for them to do that. We'll eventually see route numbers in the triple-digits when they get around to more regions on their American continent.

OK, hatred of Rule 34 aside... I'm already trying to figure out which version I'm going to eShop and which one I'll get retail. Want to run with all 3 of the starters, quite frankly.

That grass starter is one of the coolest looking starters I've seen in a while. This will probably the first time I will start with a grass starter. I always pick the water starter, but that frog is even worse than Mijimaru and I don't really care for that fire fox at all.

New generation on new hardware always brings it back up.
Hopefully this really helps the 3DS in the west, it could use it.
Not even Terry's Wonderland 3D looks this good. C'mon.
