Doesn't the fact that the glasses glitch happened at all mean that they are most likely separately modeled from the character? Why else would they do that if they weren't going to allow you to do customization?

How would you guys feel about revamping the Pokemon cries? Personally I'd keep the old ones forever (at least for these portable scaled games) but I wouldn't be opposed to all new redone cries for everyone, especially older gens.

there's no way they're ever changing the cries. No replacement would sound good. What would you even do?

Redo them all and make them sound more realistic. Gen I cries sound horrible compared to the more advanced Gen V cries.

This is the 3DS launch all over again when people were saying how games looked like their N64/DS counterparts . I mean I'm not saying what we currently have now couldn't do with some work and a steady framerate, but geez.

they already have the models because they made them for the pokèdex 3d,they "just" have to do animation.

Waking up to new Pokemon games is a good way to start the day. The game looks good visually.

I'm thinking of starting Leaf type this time.

nice to see fennekin catching up in the polls. there must've been a lot of early pity votes for froakie.

they did a great job picking out their starter variety this year. opinions aren't that divisive and most people can find one they like.

Not even gonna try to guess what the starter evos might look like. Last time, I sort of anticipated Snivy evolving into a limbless snake, as per real-life snakes, but who the hell saw Oshawott becoming a quadrapedal samurai with a conch shell helmet and swords sheathed on its arms?? Or Tepig becoming some sort of bearded Mexican wrestler?

The Pokedex 3D models are also the only 3D models being rendered on screen in front of a plain background. Definitely wouldn't work in an actual game unless they either lowered the quality of each model significantly or made everything else 2D.

Hmm ev training will be a tad harder unless they finally reveal evs and ivs. I hope the starters get decent move pools this time compared to BW starters tho Coil leafblade serperior still owned everything ingame.

God please keep art-design clashing Miis far away from Pokemon. And all games that aren't designed around them.

And to whoever said this could be indicative of Pokemon featuring real world locations, you are aware that just about every Pokemon game has been based on a real region of the world? They even straight up named Kanto after its influence.

Sure graphic wise it doesn't looks good (and we know that the system can do much better.)
I hope for some improvements outside of battles because it kinda looks like a DS game. Otherwise, I don't care I want it day one.

First time I've been pumped for Poke in a long time. The only game I 100% enjoy is still Pokemon Red / Blue. And now hopefully this one.
