Not that there's anything wrong with that.

There's probably a good chance of some yellow Pikachu 3DS XL eventually too. Oh wait.

Oh my god. I would murder a puppy for that shiny charizard 3DS

More ghost and mixed ghost types.. i mean everyone with a sense of style knows they're the coolest looking :p
Yes. Ghosts have always been my favorite since Haunters existence. Gen 2 was dissapointing. Gen 3 brought bannete, shedinja and duskull. Gen 4 had our first ghost legendaries, froslass and drifblim although the ghost concept is so underused. I liked a some of the ghosts in gen 5 like jellicent and the best designed ghost Lampent.

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
Your avatar reminds me, GameFreak needs to hop on the weird Nintendo obsession bandwagon and create an Eggplant Pokemon.

B2W2 also had this. One or two songs isn't a big deal, but I would not enjoy a completely orchestral OST.

Songs like Ghetsis (B2W2) are amazing, especially the Fauxtar used. And Neo Team Plasma is easily the best Team theme in the series.

Huh, didn't think to check out the B/W 2 trailer. Who knows.

Agree to disagree. I hear this and can't help but get excited thinking about it.

And I personally thought the dennis dance remix was horrible. Ghetsis' original theme was so much more solemn, the B/W 2 version killed that.

I honestly thought they were just going to have a 3d models with limited movements like the 3DS pokedex pokemon, with the typical attack animations we've always had but better done in 3d.they really went all out.

So yeah, I really hope Shuckle is in this.

My favorite Pokémon ever. I have never seen you around GAF, but judging from your avatar I already like you.

Edit: Just saw your tag and realized that you're the anti-gameplay guy with the batshit insane Miyamoto topic. Cool point rescinded! ;)

Is the guy who did those taking requests? I kind of want one.

And of course, does he do comic characters? (I'm thinking of Captain Marvel and Yvern).

If not, I'll go with Sena.

Shoulda been faster! Masuda should allow some straight Speedcore into the next game. He knows he wants to.

As in "Heathcliff"
Play Pokemon every day, or your Pokemon will be weak sauce and you will be crushed by even the likes of Youngster Joey.

More random thoughts

- They took the "versions" out of the titles. Wonder if that means anything?

- I'm willing to bet we'll see some sort of fusion mechanic. They already opened that can of worms in B/W 2, and the titles/logos point towards DNA and gentetics being prevalent.

- PokeFrance sounds pretty cool. Looks like they reset the route system again. I wonder if that's just the new standard, or if PokeFrance is far away from the other regions like Unova was?

- I hope the music in the trailer points to an orchestra based soundfont. B/W's first trailer definitely used the in-game Pokemon theme, so it's looking like this is the case.

- Gyms are back, I saw the symbol that the B/W gyms used in the trailer for just a second. Don't think anybody doubted this, but there's confirmation anyway.

- I don't care if the overworld has jaggies, I don't care about FPS, just give me the smooth fluid battles from B/W. If they're anything slower than that, I'm going to be pretty disappointed.

-The over 700 Pokemon thing could mean anything. They said over 600 for B/W and we got 649, they said over 400 for D/P and we got 493. Don't get too freaked out.

Manga character only.

The moves do look cool!

But having said that, no matter how good the anims are, I'll still be turning them off for all battles except gym leaders and E4's.

Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe
On a related note...

What with the worldwide release at the same time, and the 3DS still unhacked so far, it really will be going into the game blind.

IT'LL BE AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE YOU GUYS!

Personally I think it's Close Combat

What if it's the dark version of Close Combat (Pressure Points)?

Instantly best starter if it knows Close Combat that early on.

Expect move animations to be reused. Quick attack will look like Close Combat, except maybe some particle effects will be different.

Also, don't expect more than these animations for each pokemon:

-idle
-physical attack
-special attack
-getting hit

From all of the negative discussion of Froakie's design at the beginning of this thread, I'm surprised to see Froakie taking the lead as GAF's favourite starter. I'm completely in favour of Team Froakie though! Froakie is just awesome. I have to give thanks to Gamefreak for maintaining killer design choices when it comes to the Water starters.
