My allegiance with the LORD still stands.

I usually like pokemon for their design and not their usability, but if I need to use something to win I will. Timburrs is something I just simply cannot grow fond of with all those weird veins and it's cartoony look.

Sounds good, stuff like this from both TCG games will be my battle music hehe.

Duel Vs. Team GR

After I get a bit more settled in I'll battle against you if you like.

Ugh! Thief!
I used that theme before...but the video is long gone :(

Still, the theme kicks ass :p

Maybe I should draw a Chespin myself in my own style.
But I have a C++ assignment to do within a week
Pfft, screw assignments! We need more Chespin! MORE!

Also I was going for Sugimori style in both pics >__> Dunno if I quite pulled it off though.

Well before I started caring about battling in the TCG I only cared about how cool/cute a Pokemon looks but I keep getting cards with interesting attacks/abilities and thinking how fun it'd be to use them.

Timburr's design (and its evos) are like... yeah, veins. Not a huge fan... but I appreciate its line a lot more now thanks to Conkeldurr's Craftsmanship ability.

I wouldn't've used them normally but you unlock a deck with the Timburr line in the single player mode so I ended up playing with them a lot.

Wait.. there was a Pokemon Trading Card Game -2-?? How did I not know this??

That'd be great! Just don't expect me to be any good at it =P

Yup, and it was recently fully translated last year. I just recently started playing it and it's pretty fun, I mean it has the Team Rocket cards and some other cards so that's nice. The first part of the game you essentially replay through the first game, but after that you go to a new continent and do that and it's really fun.

Definitely worth a try! And haha, well we'll see how that goes.

I think a pokemon game launching without a Fire/Water/Grass starter would be shit.

A lot of pokemon game is tradition. Taking the feature set of R/G/B and the feature set of of B/W/B2/W2 the games are worlds apart

What pages of the thread were the majority of the council (where the starters are chatting with Xerneas/Yveltal) comic strips on?

Some of those were hilarious and I can't find them again. And wasn't it Chespin being blasted out in the last panel? lol

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
And I like your picks - though Kars being Gallade looks silly lol

Nah, it'd be Pokemon they own in place of Stands (or general powers, for non-Stand Users), not which Pokemon the human characters would be.

And here's some more I thought of for all the sidekick characters.

Abdul - Well, Magician's Red was a giant flaming chicken, so Blaziken pretty much has a lock on this.

Kakyoin - Hierophant Green would be Reuniclus, a Pokemon who'd be able to extend its body and such, and fire off some kind of Emerald Splash-like attack.

Polnareff - Silver Chariot would be Escavalier. It's got armor, a sword, and it's French-looking. Perfect.

Iggy - Sandslash for The Fool. Give it the ability to morph into sand, and make it bipedal...its quills could stand up to resemble Fool's feathers as well. As for Iggy himself, he'd probably be a Snubbull lol.

Okuyasu - Dusclops, because like the Hand, it's able to send things to another dimension, as well as having prominent hands.

Koichi - Tympole for Echoes, because of its sound-motif.
And Palpitoad then Seismitoad for Echoes Act 2 and Act 3. Echoes even kind of goes through the same evolution, a little tadpole creature, a stubby bipedal shape, and then a humanoid shape

Rohan - Heaven's Door would naturally be Smeargle. Another obvious choice.

Buccellati - The weirder Stand Powers are a bit harder to find Pokemon equivalents for. I went with Ambipom for Sticky Fingers...it can't form zippers, of course, but it has the fingers on the end of its tail, and has a bowl-cut like Bruno. Wait...Bannette has a zipper? Yeah, but I didn't want to use it for Bruno since that'd be the perfect match for Ebony Devil from Part 3.

Narancia - Yanma for Aerosmith. There's a lot of Flying Pokemon you could put here, but Yanma is small, has a plane-like shape, and could fire off SonicBooms like bullets. And Yanma is able to detect its surroundings like Aerosmith as well.

Mista - There's no bullet Pokemon (there is a gun Pokemon, Remoraid, but that's perfect for Hol Horse), so instead I went with a multiple-in-one Pokemon to represent Sex Pistols. Exeggcute. There's also six Exeggcute, and six Sex Pistols, so it works.

Fugo - There's a lot of poison Pokemon to fit Purple Haze, but I went with Toxicroak, as the poison fingers it has fits alongside the virus bulbs on Haze's knuckles. They even look a bit similar.

Abbachio - Wobbuffet for Moody Blues. It's blue, and you could rework its "Mirror Coat" ability to have it instead replay the actions of an individual. Plus Moody Blues can't attack when its ability is used...just like Wobbs can't attack either.

Trish - Medicham for Spice Girl, because it's feminine looking a bit, and you could rework its yoga powers into the ability to soften objects, I guess.

Hermes - Kiss is Jynx, who kisses stuff, leaving a kiss-mark that then multiplies the object lol.

F.F. - We don't have a plankton Pokemon...so, closest thing would be a bunch of Shellos who come together, I guess.

Annasui - Diver Down would be...it's hard since its powers aren't well defined. I'm gonna go with Frillish. It fits the scuba-motif, and as a Ghost, it could phase through an opponent and rearrange their insides too. And it having a male and female form is perfect too, since Annasui was originally a girl.

Weather Report - Castform, obviously.
Heavy Weather turns everyone into Shelmet

Emporio - Burning Down the House is hard-one. Maybe just a Yamask who can form ghost objects, fitting with it remembering its past and all which resembles the power of BDTH.

Gyro - Voltorb in place of the Steel Balls, yeah.

Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe

I always knew Dorkly was terrible but this just takes the cake.

Hahahaha Iggy.

Nice catch on using Exeggute. I always thought there's nothing to fit those tiny men for Sex Pistols.

Have we heard anything about the sounds of this game yet? could we possibly maybe one day have new sounds for Pokemon other than the computer generated noises we hear for them now, that'd be pretty nice, would be a clear upgrade from the previous games
