Here's hoping that after Jinto's death while chasing his cat out of an airlock without a suit, poor cat, that she starts a threesome between herself, the Queen and Spoor, in an effort to fill the void left from Jinto's tragically stupid death, but shortly after starting the Queen and Spoor forget she's in the room and just focus on each other and Lafiel feeling neglected tries to hang herself with a bedsheet, fails, falls out the window and is eaten to death by whatever crazy alien bugs are on the Abh planet.

ending wasn't that bad though did feel a bit abrupt however. I suppose it's natural for this sort of 1 off anime.

Pretty decent production values too.

I think we all expected this to be what it was. Not surprised. Also strangely not disappointed. It would have been a really short project. More importantly, it could still end up being an anime later. I want to see more Shaft anime though. Bring on the next project!

Finally popped my Precure cherry. You guys told me ages ago to begin with Heartcatch or Smile, but actually I prefer starting with the weaker series and working my way up, and I gather Suite isn't too highly thought of.

Anyway, I enjoyed these first two episodes a lot. The setup and execution remind me of when I used to watch Cardcaptors (CCS), Power Rangers etc when I was younger. It's been a while since I've watched anything quite so wonderfully formulaic, childish, saccharine and silly. I'll probably get through it fairly slowly, since marathoning it would doubtlessly cause it to become gratingly repetitive.

Oh, and although I have nothing against the main duo, I'd like to see some more Precures join the fray sooner rather than later.

You chose a rather interesting Precure to venture into the franchise with but much less people have watched that one. It will be interesting reading impressions of Precure different from what has been discussed lately.

Let's see...some time within the coming days I'll finish up Futari wa Pretty Cure. So that'll leave me only actively watching Princess Tutu. And that'll be for weekends. I should get back on Spice and Wolf, but other than that, I'll have a lot of spots for new shows opening up. Maybe Heartcatch is in order.

Same here. Only things I'll be watching after this coming week will be Hidamari Sketch and Straight Title Robot Anime. At the very least I need to find a replacement for Joshiraku. Might be time to try out some more random shows I've never heard of.

I know we already discussed the special "godly episodes theater" stage that's going to be at ACE next weekend, but I noticed something interesting from this new article about it (which, btw, has light spoilers for some of the chosen episodes); namely, how apparently only some of the episodes were chosen by sponsor Newtype, while others were fan-voted and two were special picks from seiyuu Ayane Sakura and Saori Hayami. This is pretty hit and miss for the most part but as it's only 2 minutes an episode (1:30 if you skip the op) it's worth checking out to see if its up your alley. Keep in mind it is pretty lewd but that's really what makes it kinda interesting.

Toriko 25 - 38 (FuniDub, DVD)

Still has many good choices for vas, liked Bogie's voice, as well as Yosaku and the dude that manned the miniature robot (they didnt introduce or name him I think?). The dub has some interesting dialogue choices that arent in their subs (odd that whats spoken isnt what the subtitles say, is this always the case? I never really turn subs on when I watch on tv).

"Sweet cheesy rice! What's with your arm!!!"
"What in the Peking Duck!
"What in the moldy garlic!"

Saburina is still the best ED theme.

And now this list makes much more sense, particularly as to why Fruits Basket is on it. Saori Hayami would have been ten when Furuba first aired ohmygodIfeelold.

I gotta say even though I was coming into the episode not really caring about the plot, the show did a good job in showing that I should care.

I do wonder if the show is going to actually tie up all the loose ends now especially since the preview looked like it was doing nothing but adding more plot lines.

The manga is still on going and I dont think a few of the stuff presented much earlier is concluded yet there, maybe.

Though the screen looks so good, waiting for thursday for crunchyroll cant wait!
