As someone who enjoys pop music, i never quite understood that community. It was mostly the same "sassy" gifs and most of the discussion was regarding female pop stars, more so about about their appearance rather than the hits they were making with random words like "mess" thrown in.

TBH there was way more interest in discussion than there was actual content to discuss.

If they simply deleted the thread, and will let them start a new one that's fine. I can understand if they wanted to do that because of complains from google or whatever. But if they've essentially banned the popgaf community from making a thread, that's pretty fucked up.

I find it very hard to believe some advertisers got mad about popgaf but not the awesome fanart thread.

It's fine to post pics of characters drawn fat wearing dirty diapers feeding eachother while trying to have sex but not gifs of gyrating popstars or guys without shirts on?
