Aaaaand my old faithful 360 broke, red rings. Wanted relive some of the best gaming memories that I had this gen before next gen hit.

I waited like 3 hours to pick up the retail copy at midnight at the now defunct Hollywood Video. I got there at like 11pm but there were like 50 people ahead of me and the sales people were slow as heck, only reason I got it from that place someone gave me gift card credit. Glad to finally have Halo 3 digital, it's my 2nd favorite single player Halo game right after Halo:Combat Evolved, even though Halo 4 technically craps all over this game especially the gun fire effects.

Halo 3's biggest flaw is the old net code. Playing right now and I hate it when I can finish kills cuz of the BR spread and players being so damn evasive (all without armor abilities!).

I loved taking pictures in Halo 3. Besides having more vibrant colors you could also get near an explosion and still know what the explosion was coming from. In the halo's after H3, when taking pictures if you got within 10 feet of an explosion everything would be bright white no matter if the explosion was blue, green, pink, etc. The visors and armor looked alot better too imo.

Sony should counter this by giving Warhawk away for free on PS+. These games were both in beta at the same time iirc.

Resistance and CoD4 were awesome but man I wish I was around for Halo 3 in it's multiplayer prime. It's always looked so good.

Yep. I love Halo 3 but the netcode is really rough.

If I'm around for customs this weekend, I can host if people want. My campus connection is absurdly good (both download and upload), and I can play H3 matchmaking with very little lag.
