LEGO Marvel Super Heroes |OT| Cosmic Brick Your Console

When is the point in the game when free roam is actually a viable thing to do? Still cannot switch characters on the fly
Also feel free to add me on PSN. Could use some LEGO buds

Is it confirmed that one can use the vita as a second controller to play as a second player ?
And is it split screen or is there a way to get a full screen on the vita via remote play ?
Anyone ? Trying to see if I'll need a second controller right away.

My gf and I just finished running through this. Best Lego game so far, really liked the music too. The licensed titles were great too but repetitive. Actual boss fight music was a really nice touch.

I just ordered it today for the PS4. Thanks to amazon germany and the 20€ off promotion, I just had to pay 39€ (which I dropped to 29€ with another 10€ coupon which I still had ;)).

After Lego City for the Wii U my 2nd Lego game this year. :)

I have a performance related question that I hope someone can help me with. I bought this game for the pc, and once I had it installed and up and running, I'm seeing these massive black bars on the top and bottom (like there is some aspect ratio mismatch?). They cover almost half the screen and I just cannot force myself to play this.

I'm running the game at 1080p, 16:9 AR (same as that of my monitor) and with all other settings at max. My system specs are: i7 2700k, gtx 670 and 8gb of ram. Also I have the 331.82 drivers for my GPU which I think are the latest ones.

I faced the same thing with Darksiders 2 and I just couldn't bring myself to play that either, even though it has some pretty good reviews.

Nice, gonna give it a whirl tonight.

Did there end up being any significant differences in the Ps4/XB1 versions compared to the Ps3/360 ones? Or just resolution/framerate?

Nothing much judging from the demo. Higher resolution and better textures seem to be the only things that got better. And it's 30fps...

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but on the Wii U version can you play co-op with 2 pro controllers or does someone always have to be on the gamepad even if you're just playing on the TV?

My GF and I just booted the game up and yea can't seem to figure out if you can just play with pro controllers, pretty dumb if the gamepad is forced. :(

Does this game not include an instruction manual?

Picked up Wii U version today at Walmart for $25 (came with free Iron Patriot minifig), and due to the exclusive Walmart figure it came in a small box. Figure package was sealed, but the game is not sealed in the box. Upon opening it there was no instruction manual or anything.

It just looked so bare with no inserts. Like I bought a used game. Just had to ask if this is normal for this game?

I've been playing Lego marvel with my son on ps4.. we are having a great time playing together. He has played all the Lego games on vita and wiiu but this the first time we had a chance to play together..

Stories like this are great! Splitscreen gaming needs to make a comeback.

Was a bit bummed to find out this got delayed until next week on the PS4 in Australia, but I'll be grabbing it next week on day one.

Still playing it on the Vita, despite already having Plat and 100%. There's just so many characters and special powers that make the levels great new fun on subsequent play-throughs!

I just checked my copy (which I purchased new from Walmart on day 1) and it doesn't have any paper in the box. I guess some games these days aren't adding paper in the box.

It's a good feeling playing with him. It's winter where we live right now, so he's not playing outside much. We sit down when I get out of work and play. We are working together on getting a 100% in the game. After we are done with this one, we will work on beating knack together. I like Lego games for him because the puzzles make him think in order to solve them.

I dont recall any Wii U games coming with a manual. Some have a control map leaflet like fold out, but no manuals. Even SM3D World refers you to an in game manual.

I'm a little cheesed that this title has only been marked down to $39.99 on next-gen platforms in the United States. Still $59.99 everywhere north of the border.

Like I am with most lego games, a lot of it is super easy, then I'll randomly get stuck at a point. Eg yesterday I was doing an early level with Mr fantastic and captain America. Found one of those bits that Spider-man can pull, and the pop-up text said that heroes with web-slinging can pull this. So I figured it was one of those 'come back in free play to get a bonus' deals - there are lots of those.

After about the minutes of trying to work out what to do, I found out that mr fantastic can pull those too! Wtf, he doesn't have web slinging capabilities.

Does it let you have a completely separate second screen using remote play on vita? I'm guessing it'll still be split screen mirrored, but fingers crossed.

Yeah, given how those tutorials will pester you the whole way through the game, it is annoying how inaccurate they are. Another one says that only bigfigs can destroy the shattered coloured wall things, but Thor can too.

Just got the open world but and loving it.

Haven't played a Lego game since ps2 but this game plays well, looks great and is super fun. Remote play works amazing too.

Fave char so far is venom, love that is can basically be Spider-Man and hulk at the same time

A much replayability does this game have?

Looking to get either this or AC4 for Xbox One. Not sure which yet.

Can someone "sell" me on this?

Last Lego Game I played properly was Lego Star Wars 2

You may get more out of AC4. You can beat the main story in about 12ish hours, and it takes about 30 or so to 100% the game. You can replay the levels after you beat the game at any point with whatever character you'd like. It's a great co-op game with great humour.

I'm annoyed that the digital version isn't on sale. A $20 savings isn't worth having a disc for my kids to scratch up and misplace.

I'm loving this game. My son and I want to return to it almost every waking hour of the day. I really feel it's the best Lego game to date. It looks pretty too!

Has anyone managed to get the full game downloaded on PS4?

My system keeps downloading a 900 meg file which appears to be the demo. I'm reading reports on Sony forums and Gamefaqs that nobody else can get the full game to download either.

Wow the game keeps on freezing on me whem I try to unlock "Rescue".

Xbox 360 here

Mine's become noticeably less stable after I unlocked her :(

And dear god, the air races suck. The bad flight controls don't really impact the rest of the game, but the time limits on the races are ridiculously tight.
