Owner: Take this object, but beware it carries a terrible curse!
Homer: [worried] Ooooh, that's bad.
Owner: But it comes with a free Frogurt!
Homer: [relieved] That's good.
Owner: The Frogurt is also cursed.
Homer: [worried] That's bad.
Owner: But you get your choice of topping!
Homer: [relieved] That's good.
Owner: The toppings contains Potassium Benzoate.
Homer: [stares]
Owner: That's bad.

I love the bear patrol exchange between homer and lisa.

Homer: Not a bear in sight. The Bear Patrol must be working like a
charm.
Lisa: That's spacious reasoning, Dad.
Homer: Thank you, dear.
Lisa: By your logic I could claim that this rock keeps tigers away.
Homer: Oh, how does it work?
Lisa: It doesn't work.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: It's just a stupid rock.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: But I don't see any tigers around, do you?
[Homer thinks of this, then pulls out some money]
Homer: Lisa, I want to buy your rock.
[Lisa refuses at first, then takes the exchange]

The guest spots used to be so great. Aerosmith the whole thing was Moe acting like old friends w them, Michael Jackson was an awesome story, Dustin Hoffman and Albert Brooks were memorable characters.

King of the Hill also made great use of guest stars, especially when they weren't playing themselves. Brad Pitt, Alan Rickman, Johnny Depp...

I love the tomacco episode.

Also in the Summer of 4 Ft. 2 epsiode, there is a line that goes like this basically (I am probably remembering it wrong)

Lisa didn't put anything in her suitcase

Homer picks it up and says something about it being lite and easy to pick up or something.

Lisa says sarcastically "or maybe you are just getting stronger"

Then Homer goes "Well, I HAVE been eating more lately" or something like that.

Damn, I thought it was funny, hehe.

Which is the one where homer is a trucker and takes sleeping pills to help him sleep and caffeine to keep him awake? Laughed my head off at that.

My favorite slapstick bit from the Simpsons is the one with the waiter.

And the soup exchange between the waiter and Quimby's nephew is hilarious (at least in German), I quote it all the time (and no one gets what I'm talking about).

And of course the courtroom scenes with Homer!

I agree with most of the episodes mentionned. But why no love for Lisa's First Word ?
Maybe it's only that good in French ?

Also, two friends of mine (which are also big Simpsons fans) and I did a "Simpsons Night" and one of them wouldn't stop talking about how great "Bart on the Road" was. We didn't remember it being that good so we watched it and it's really one of the funniest.

Skinner: "I know you can ready my thoughts, Bart. And when I find out you've been skipping class - your ass is mine. That's right. I think words I never say."
Homer: "I know you can read my thoughts boy. Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow."

Man you're slow, Homer.
*Zoom into Homer's brain*
Something said. Not good.
*Zoom out. It's night time and Lenny is getting a glass of water*
You still here? Man, you really are slow.
Something said. Not good.
GET OUT!

You guessed it. Secrets of a Successful Marriage.

I love the dentist in Last Exit to Springfield.

"Maggie's teeth are coming in crooked. Has she been sucking on... a pacifier?"

"Not to my knowledge"

"LIAR!"

Also love the PTA Disbands.

"Oh my God, the PTA has disbanded!"

"No no, the PTA has not disbanded!"

I love that sequence, hahaha.

The episode when Shelbyville steals the lemon tree ranks high, A tale of two Springfields I think it was called. Torwards at the end they rip off the siege of Troy to get the tree back and Homer says:

"Heh this hasn't been done before"

Why did you describe one of the best episodes of the series and give it the name of one of the worst episodes of the series? That seriously made me cry a little inside.

I can't believe I'm the only one to mention Secrets of a Successful Marriage. It has a golden joke every ten seconds.

It also has perhaps my favourite laugh out loud moment 'You mean I'm gonna be daddy? I hope we stay together forever...forever...forever....forever?'

Forget it Marge, it's Chinatown.

Last Exit to Springfield is probably the best episode, but season 5 was the best overall season.

One of the best episodes of The Simpsons ever made! OMG that takes me back.

Last Exit, no doubt. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. It's perfection.

After that?

Lisa on Ice
Homer at the Bat
Marge Vs. The Monorail
TOF: V
Homer: Badman
Lemon of Troy
You Only Move Twice
Behind the Laughter
Mother Simpson/And Maggie Makes Three

And many many more, fucking <3 this show.

Not the greatest episode, but definitely a great one from one of the later seasons during "the grand decline"

Homer: Woo-hoo! A perfect day. Zero bears and one big fat hairy
paycheck.
[opens it up]
Hey! How come my pay is so low? ... Bear patrol tax! This is
an outrage! It's the biggest tax increase in history!
Lisa: Actually, Dad, it's the smallest tax increase in history.
Homer: Let the bears pay the bear tax. I pay the Homer tax.
Lisa: That's home-_owner_ tax.
Homer: Well, anyway, I'm still outraged.

Homer: Not a bear in sight. The Bear Patrol must be working like a
charm.

Brother from another series, the writers just make fun out of Frasier for the entire thing. Probably one of the best inside jokes of all time.

I really enjoy Lisa and Homer episodes. They are usually heart warming and as well as incredibly funny.

Honourable mention to 'Simpsons and Delilah'.
