Mine was showing delivery on Friday until I changed the payment method. It started showing that.
I never heard of hori doing premium before now.
But standard has worked for both my n3ds and wii u gamepad. Standard should be fine
I went with the standard Hori because it said it was going to arrive by Friday.
It's weird because I ordered the same thing back in late January when pre-orders went up for Hori screen protectors and there was still no estimated arrival. I would get an ETA via e-mail. Cancelled and reordered and got a Friday delivery date.
The Wii U version would still sell more copies because of supply constrained Switches.
GameStop posts above made me realize people's common sense and reading comprehension can be bad. Even if it's not worded perfectly it's obvious it just means that you have to pay for protection at a store if you want it.
I find the fact that anyone would think it means anything else kind of funny.
Not a GameStop fan and that is still a "duh" moment. It took me a second to realize why the person was complaining.
FWIW my Super Bomberman R changed from delivery estimate March 3rd to no estimate available. A bit worried now as I don't really want to have to get it locally and pay $10 more for it.
I think the reason why there isn't a pre-load up yet is because nintendo doesn't want this out early. They had it up for a while, but people started to download it, so they pulled it.
With the Wii U being so easy to hack, they want to limit the chance the game leaks early.
Fuck Nintendo. I'm like a battered wife that keeps coming back for more. I've been trying to score a Switch on Amazon for a month now with no luck and now this shit? Did NoA screwed Amazon over again? I cant even preorder Zelda without knowing the'll ship it in a timely manner, if ever?
Nintendo, get your shit together!
Best Buy's website still has them if you don't want to take a chance with Amazon. Its clear they are having issues with stock on the Wii U version.
Yup. Despite already having an Amazon pre-order I've also ordered through Best Buy. I don't trust Nintendo not to short stock on the version for their legacy console, and I won't be pushed into buying a Switch just to play the one game I felt I had to buy a Wii U to play.
I can always return the Best Buy copy to the local store if both come through close enough together to avoid cancelling either.
Nintendo vs Amazon is the best battle of tech giants going today
Enough with the domestic violence comparisons. You not getting a toy on day one is in no way comparable to someone stuck in an actual abusive relationship.
You really need to get GCU too so you'd get 20% off from Best Buy.
get it from BB as well, then when your amazon copy finally arrives, return amazon copy to BB or just get GCU
I really don't buy enough games to make it worthwhile. This is the last new game I buy for the foreseeable future. It's a good deal if you buy a lot of games.
Can someone here buy me Zelda for Switch with their GCU discount after I send them an E-Gift Card to cover the cost?
I'm going to wait for another day or two maybe to see if Amazon fixes my preorder, but I'd like to have a backup plan with BB, and I don't feel like paying $30 for GCU right now. If someone can help me out with this it would be great.
Edit. Crap, I already have 2 preordered I don't think I can do a third due to GCUs restrictions. : (
If you had bought two games during the Visa Checkout deal, it would have paid for GCU and you still would have saved more money than Prime. Are you saying you don't even buy two games a year?
Edit. Crap, I already have 2 preordered I don't think I can do a third due to GCUs restrictions. : (
So glad I stuck to Best Buy for my Switch related needs. Dunno if Amazon is fucking up or Nintendo, but it sucks either way and I hope it gets sorted before release.
Amazon wrote me. No game on release. $10 credit to say sorry...I just preordered in jan so I can't be too mad. Nintendo must have screwed them.
So? As the consumer facing part of the transaction it is Amazon's responsibility to communicate this with their customers. I preordered this game a year ago and mine has gone into this limbo status.I work for a company that does millions in revenue on Amazon each month, they are extremely strict about their sellers managing listings and inventory as diligently as possible. Amazon does not provide flexibility if you need to make quick changes that can impact pre sold items. Based on what I'm reading here this is definitely Nintendo fucking up and making last minute changes to their inventory and listings. I wouldn't blame Amazon for this.
