Thankfully not all PC gamers belong tou your idiotic hive mind.

I played AC4 on 360 and PS4. It does not look better than these compressed screenshots. No, you need to get your eyes checked if you think that. Did you play the ps3 version of Black Flag or something because the PS4 version looked fantastic. This game looks like vaseline smeared shit.

Yeah but as has already been conclusively established through the power of Not Hyperbole At All, this game LITERALLY looks like a PS1 game (worse, even). So a PS3 game with better IQ is still two generations better. No I platinumed the PS4 version. It looked like the last gen version with better IQ.

Exactly
I thought they looked great! But then I started reading some posts saying it looks like a PS3 game. What the hell?!
It honestly almost looks like Infamous SS at this point, and with all those NPS and the larger scale, it's more impressive to me.
I really hope the PC version doesn't look this bad? Then again it might be another 5-10 years before more then 5 people can run that version. Damn shame because I would easily pick up a copy of the PC version if the specs were not so over the top.
I'm honestly more worried about the optimization for the PC version. The last few releases haven't been all that stellar performance wise at launch. A lot was ironed out with patches but nailing it right out of the gate would be a huge, huge plus for Unity on PC.
Based on what we've seen, the visuals in this game do not even come close to approaching Infamous: Second Son unless you're talking only NPC/crowd size.
Wow. I just can't...so much hyperbole, first it looks like a ps2 game, then it looks like a 360 launch title, and now an IOS game. I would love to see the ps2, the 360, and especially the phone that could run games that look like this. I'm out.Man, this looks like shit. How can they excuse it? Kind of looks like how I would imagine the IOS version. I'm sure it will be much better in motion though.
Not gonna jump the ship and say the game looks like total shat (need better pics - sources) which it does BUT, Amazon is showing this game is going to sell most on PS4 and looking at those Ubi financials, that company depends heavily on the PlayStation platform. Not sure what they were thinking with all that parity talk.

...srsly? Infamous blows this out of the water. Seattle looked amazing.Infamous does look cleaner but the city itself really was small and unimpressive.

It'll sell well. It'll almost certainly will have a frame rate consistently above XBone's sub-25fps. So, in that way, the supposed parity doesn't even exist in reality. Most likely. it'll just be another game that performs poorly on consoles like Evil Within.

Evil Within doesn't really run horribly on most PC's. An i5 2500k paired with a 750 ti can run it at 1080P at a consistent 30FPS.Which is all the reason you need not to purchase it. The Evil Within runs horribly on either of the consoles, even most PC's from my understanding.

Jesus Christ, the hate is too much. Everything Black Flag did right has been completely forgotten by some Gaffers here. I'm so sad.

Ubisoft's inspiration for the graphics

(his foot clips through the railing) Sorry, couldn't resist.
Yeah, I didn't know as I don't generally follow PC stuff. Consoles, however, run it like garbage. Looks like it'll be the same for this one. Doesn't it have a lot heftier minimum requirements though?

Between this and the foot clipping through the railing I'm dying here. Tries to exit on a goodnote, shows a bullshot clip with a fail in it.Too crisp. Let me add some Ubi touch.
Whatever Ubisoft is paying Crossing Eden, it clearly isn't enough.
That looks really different from what we see in the screenshots.

Wouldn't normally bother me, but it's a cutscene, how do you mess that up?
Redesigning assets after the animation was validated. Update the engine and there.

edit: did someone update that gif or something?
looks like he clearly jumps over the railing to me
Eh, the draw distance in infamous second son wasn't really anything to write home about. Building's far off in the distance were either obfuscated by fog or lod'd into flat textures.

I can play it at 60 FPS with my 2500k i bought 3 years ago and my 970 at a stable 60 FPS at 2560x1440 downscaled to 1920 x 1080 though I prefer to go 4k at stable 30 FPS which I can also do.
